    "Labeled her as morbidly obese." Morbidly obese isn't a label. It's a diagnosis.

      @Lola Montez Still a diagnosis. Still an unhealthy condition. Also unattractive.

    • @jeremykiahsobyk102
      @jeremykiahsobyk102 4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @Lola Montez Well, she was 20 when we married, more thin than I actually preferred at the time, bore me 2 sons, and now, 20 years later, is about 30 lbs heavier than she was then. It's actually kind of nice, she put on the weight in all the right feminine places and I think she's hotter now than when we first got together.
      You're right, nobody was making me date fat women then, and nobody would be able to now. My wife actually asked me what would happen if she got fat, back in the day, since we communicate like reasonable human beings rather than assume things and lay out random accusations. I told her our sex life would come to a screeching halt, but that I'm not one to abandon my marital vows. Thanks to her conscientiousness and self-control, I haven't had to find out what that situation is like.
      I wouldn't have to compete with 100% of men...I never really have. When offers have come in over the years, it's women that have just kind of thrown themselves at me - though not obese women, I think they know they don't have a chance. If anything, I tell men to stop competing over women or going to extravagant lengths to impress them, that it's not worth the effort. Better to find someone of value (physical and ethical) that reciprocates rather than leeches.

      @Lola Montez She often watches these videos with me. As with many critics of these types of video, you're mischaracterizing what Joker does, and "catastrophizing" what I originally said in my OP. In the OP, I was trying to point out that "obese" and "morbidly obese" aren't insults or "awful names" - they're diagnoses. Just because the truth is uncomfortable, doesn't mean anyone here is dishing out "hate" by pointing out the fact that someone is obese, nor is it "hate" to find that sort of body type unattractive - just a personal preference.
      She hasn't really said if she would stop having sex with me if I got fat. I don't intend to, though staying in shape isn't as effortless as when I was younger.
      As for being a Greek god, no, never been that (though a LOT better endowed than the ancient Greek statues and paintings - probably a contributing factor to my confidence and animal charm). And it's not like every woman swoons at my entrance or presence. Just that I've never had to put any effort into it. The offers, some of them quite bold and straight-forward (i.e. "throwing themselves" at me), come in sometimes. They don't rain from the sky on a daily basis, nor do I command the lust of every woman I encounter. But they do come in, and when they do, it's without effort on my part. That's all that means.
      I am one of the happiest guys on earth, probably. If you count contentedness and appreciation for what I have as "happy." I watch these types of videos from Joker because they are a calm, reasonable discourse that is a nice break from the politicized, misandric, irrationality of mainstream productions I see elsewhere. Finding out what people are doing and thinking in relationships (or avoiding relationships like Joker recommends) these days helps keep my relationship in perspective, and helps me and my wife give good advice and guidance to our sons. Being informed about various philosophies or positions isn't about pursuing hate or oppressing anyone. It's about learning the different things people are thinking and talking about, all the while making up my own mind about it.
      And, I already told you. Wife's a total hottie. She gets plenty of demonstrations of my affection and attraction. ;)

    • @jeremykiahsobyk102
      @jeremykiahsobyk102 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @Lola Montez Videos with wife: We discuss them. She disagrees with some points, agrees with others. Same as me. You appear to be using a definition of "pure hatred" that doesn't really reflect the reality of these conversations. Most of the time I see the term "hate speech" it's someone (on the left) irritated that the speaker has a set of different political or ethical values than the person employing the epithet. For example, you use the term "violently hate all fat women" and I have never seen an example of this - never once ever seen or heard of anyone who will physically attack a woman because he hates the fact that she's fat. Now, you may be equating the term "I would never have sex with a morbidly obese woman" or "I think fat women are gross" with "violent hatred," but that's not attached to reality. There's also a huge difference between characterizing a woman in her 40s with 3 young children as not being particularly attractive to a man looking to establish a long-term relationship, versus saying she's "worthless." Joker's videos are usually pointing out how these kinds of women are complaining (citing sources) about not being attractive to the same kinds of men who they pulled down in their 20s.
      Obesity: These vids sure do talk about male obesity. They say that men shouldn't remain obese, they should earn some self-pride, should go to the gym and get into good shape, adopt good nutritional habits, and stay in shape. This is a healthy kind of discussion, and to my reasoning is much better than celebrating obesity and artificially ascribing great beauty to a condition that comes with serious health ramifications. I haven't seen the term "land whales" thrown around with great frequency, except in the comments where anything goes. But, even if they are being as vitriolic as all that, that's their expression, to which they have a right. Not particularly civilized, and I make different choices. I can't remember a time when Joker used terms like this, though granted, I haven't seen all of his videos.
      Greek statue: I'm exactly as conceited as a man who is in the 90th percentile of human male statistics should be, tempered by the performance feedback I've received over the years. It doesn't really matter if you believe me or not, the only reason I brought it up is in response to what you had written.
      Joker/Better Bachelor: Even when he's been angry, he's been remarkably calm. And the term I used is "reasonable," not "reassuring." He has reasons for his positions, and he states them, and discusses why he holds certain positions, again, based on those reasons. And it doesn't really matter how old he is, whether or not he pursues a relationship, can hold one down or is anyone's idea of a success or failure - arguments are genderless and ageless. Even so, Joker's not a prophet or a role model, nor does he cast himself as such. He's just a guy having a conversation, and sometimes those conversations have personal stories and the lessons he's learned from them. I can form whatever good or crappy opinion I have about him personally, but that opinion won't - and shouldn't - affect my intellectual honesty in the discussion.
      Happiness: expanding awareness of everything out there contributes to true happiness, rather than living in a limited worldview or echo chamber. I appreciate that you'd have an eye out for my happiness, considering I'm a complete stranger on the internet, but as I stated before, I'm probably one of the happiest guys on earth anyway. I got here by working hard, asserting my well-reasoned truths when I needed to, and managing it myself.

So why would a guy with good genetics choose a woman with average genetics? That's where the disconnect with reality lies.

      I am talking about how women body-shame men, but turn around and get mad when men body-shame women. And you are going to mock them as 'incels'?
      I am glad to hear you are not personally as shallow as many women are in the Tinder age, but that does not mean these women don't exist. It also does not mean men don't get body-shamed as well.
      The idea that women are somehow above engaging in this sort of petty cruelty is absurd. There are 'ideal' standards of beauty on both sides...not just for men. Women want a guy who is 6'+, has a six-pack, has a full head of hair, etc. Nobody wants someone who looks unhealthy, be it a man or a woman.

But not all men like fat women, like myself, I really don't, I love skinny or fit, but definitely petite women. And that's ok, I have that right to be me, I too deserve to be empowered to be me and love what I love and not love what I don't :) not just empowerment, but it is what it is, can't force to change what is naturally in each person. To try is wrong the and impossible. Just accept that you will find men who love you at first sight, others after they get to know you, and others who want nothing to do with you. Choose from the guys who want you, not from those who don't. And if in the future they change their minds for or against you, well it is what it is, just got to accept what you can't and shouldn't change.

In the victorian era it was fashionable to have gout, if you had the biggest growth coming out of your big toe and face you were the most desirable man. Or longest neck in some countries. Point is if you want to be fat and the most desirable, go to those countries, talk to those men, not here, never me

    Trying to force men to be attracted to obese women is like trying to force women to want a family with a homeless man.
    Edit:
    Seems people have different ideas on what qualifies as obese. Perhaps I should have specified MORBIDLY obese.
    A woman with a bit of padding can still be very attractive, especially if she has an amazing personality and sense of humor. What I'm talking about when I say obese are the land whales. The women who look more like a bloated plucked turkey than they look like a woman.
    I'm also not saying being obese makes you a bad person. If anything, you've probably felt much pain and are probably very compassionate and forgiving.
    Also, gotta love the people in the comments who are all, "well actually, I knew this ONE guy..." yeah, one guy, because he's the exception, NOT the rule. Just like I'm sure if you dig hard enough you'll find a woman who married a homeless man. There are over 7 BILLION people on this planet, so statistically yes, you'll find some odd couples whom defy human nature when it comes to selecting a mate. Doesn't mean it's common place.

The church also had a few fat women who were hardworking and responsible. He purposely chose the lazy fat woman because she encouraged him to be incredibly lazy in the extreme whereas any other woman would expect him to have a life and not be boringly inactive. After his dad died, his male mentor (associate pastor/ leader of the young adults group) moved to Alaska, and then that man died within a few years. The guy reverted back to the way his mother had spoiled him to be, and that fat lazy stupid woman must be similar to his ridiculous mother.

      Girls/women in my country, they're either too thin, or too thick.
      When they are too thin, you can literally see that they have no Breasts, at all. In Vietnam, we men have a quote for that, it is "Back to back is a crime", to describe the "Two walls" of women in our country. They may look pretty in the faces, but they look flat at both the back and the front. Not to mention the hips and other stuff....they got nothing fit, because they're too skinny. Personally for me, when i look at girls in my country, i am like "Can this A cup be changed into at least C cup???" And don't forget "Skinny Fat" is a thing as well.
      For thick women, they are too fat, and it is like......impossible to ... you know, "Doing actions" with them.
      In short, the one thing thin + thick body women have in common, is that they both don't take care of their bodies, at all.
      Fit women in my country do exist, however they're too rare. Only a few of them are fit, not to mention the breast size of women in my country is basically A cup, to find C cup is like finding needle in the haystack.

      @KaeYoss 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well, in the end, it's everyone's choice and responsibility. No one can be forced to be healthy.
      The real problems come from 2 things:
      1: Some obese women (and yes, just women. Men might or might not try to do the same, but they can't get away with it because of double standards) think they can demand that good-looking guys find them attractive. At the same time, they themselves turn down obese (or even just overweight) men. You can't force attraction.
      2: The body positivity movement doesn't preach that it's your choice to be obese, they preach that it's fine and healthy to do so, that there is literally nothing wrong with it - but reality disagrees. There is something wrong with it: It's terrible for your health. Again, it's everyone's choice to do that to their own health, but deluding yourself into thinking there is no problem is wrong - and deluding OTHERS into thinking there is no problem is downright evil.

    As I always say, the expectations that women think that exist and that they're "oppressed" by because of "society" is 100% inside their own heads. If you look at the ideal figure for a woman that both men and women consider ideal, the one women consider ideal is almost always more thin, petite, etc. than the one that men think is ideal. They invented the expectations and have now reacted by jumping to the other extreme where obesity is now "beauty."

For example: a father who sexualizes his daughter and consistently compares her to various hourglass shaped models in magazines, criticizing the differences and praising the similarities. Or the creator of a doll that influences how young girls perceive what they are supposed to look like, or how about the representation of women in media and art. it's biology 101. big breasts signal abundant breastfeeding for offspring. wide hips signal optimal birthgiving. thin waist signals fitness, hence high chances of survival. a gut denotes low chances of survival. this goes back to caveman times in which a fat woman would not be able to escape danger, therefore the chances of survival are low. if you mate with such a woman, chances are your offspring would also have low chances of survival. when women shame men for being attracted to the ideal female body, they are going against evolution and nature itself.
    PS: I do not recommend you to play "hide the cucumber" with your cat...

    • @EvilSanta482
      @EvilSanta482 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The optimal body size has varied throughout history depending primarily on food scarcity. In scarce times like say the middle ages being portly meant you had the resources to be able to get that fat in the first place. In modern times you see the opposite as food is everywhere and easy to come by as it signals self control and overall health. That being said fat didn't mean then what it does today. You didn't really see morbidly obese people until more recent times. Chunky wold be a more apt term for what fat was then.

      So in some African tribes where the women are traditionally obese (some even are force fed to gain more weight before marriage or trying to get pregnant) and considered ideal...hmm, they've just been wrong all this time. Their belief is that the extra weight shows they can afford enough to eat and will survive a famine, iirc.

    • @StrikerEureka85
      @StrikerEureka85 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Lola Montez lady, i get what you're saying, but i'm not talking about the conscious mind, i'm talking about the subconscious mind: the most basal, reptilian instincts. that is what the female figure signals to the deepest of the male brain, even if a woman has fake boobs, even if there are decades of research that prove otherwise. it is how the male brain is wired and even we cannot change that.

    • @EvilSanta482
      @EvilSanta482 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Lola Montez Well this isn't common knowledge for most people as they have little to no reason to know such things especially men who can't breastfeed to begin with. Historically speaking that is exactly how large breasts were viewed much like a large penis depending on the culture and time period in question. As was also stated in other replies we are talking about instincts which trump any and all modern science and innovation. Just because modern medicine has improved childbirth doesn't mean our instincts suddenly change as a species. There is a reason why men and women act how they do and view things the way they do. Lastly there is such a thing as a figure between a stick and a land whale you know for both men and women. Being fat especially when viewed through the lens of antiquity doesn't mean what it does today for better or for worse.

      This is why kids need both a mom AND a dad. It is in a mom's nature to coddle their children, and this is great for their early years, and for later emotional support, but it must be balanced by the dad. The dad's role is to give it to their kids straight, to promote honesty not only with others, but with themselves, and to strive for excellence rather than settle for mediocrity.
      With both a mother and father, assuming they're well adjusted people and not spiraling towards divorce, a child grows up emotionally stable, has a solid foundation of ethics, and is motivated to improve areas of their life in which they find lacking. They treat people courteously, but not so much so as to be dishonest.
      These female channels telling morbidly obese people they're beautiful the way they are are actually doing more harm than good. Obesity is a very serious health issue, and to gaslight people into thinking it isn't is fucking evil. On the flip side, being an asshole about it won't do them any good, either.
      A well adjusted person can give it to you straight without sounding like a total jerkwad. You may not like hearing the truth, even when presented tactfully, but the truth is more important than a temporary dopamine hit.

      What younger women don't understand is they have a 10 to 15-year window to get and achieve what will affect them for the rest of their lives, for the most part. This is a generalization but accurate. It's up to each woman in her 20's to decide the outcome of the rest of their lives. Men have another decade to figure it out. It's not fair, and all the crying from the feminists won't change it but in my opinion, it's up to the older women to give the younger ones the wisdom on this. If you want a family someday don't spend 10 years getting pumped and dumped. It will ruin how you think. Live your life and prepare yourself to be a good woman and you will be a good wife and mother and will be ready and prepared when that GOOD man comes into your life. Disassociate your family from the culture in this country, home school if possible, and you will be happy if that's the life you want. If you want to be a career woman, do it, but trying to be both usually doesn't work out. That's where the feminists screwed up. Just my humble opinion...

      Agree. And I’d go further and say guys who date really fat chicks should get a tax break. Already a lot of psycho Karens; think how bad it would be if no fat chicks got dates.

    I always thought _plus-sized_ meant 20-60 pounds over-weight. now, I realize it just means *FAT*

    The way I am, I give a girl a chance regardless of her appearance. There's no point in dating a 10 woman that acts like a witch when you can date a solid 7 woman that treats you like you're royalty.

      Where does one find these 7's that treat a man like royalty? Asking for a friend.

      A solid 7 isn't fat. If she's fat, she can't be higher than a 3.

      @@oil1252 I already got her. Had her for 7 years so far. We don't fight or nothing, I literally won the lottery on dating somehow. She's a filipina.

    So agree with all you are saying. It is difficult to lose weight, hard to stay on a diet, maddening to tell yourself no every day. But, when you do, you will never look back. It is so worth it! I don't want to admit this but since I really started taking care of myself, guys look at me all the time. And I'm not young, but hubby calls me his trophy wife 😂.

    Not having a gut goes along way in making women more attractive.
