- Dj's Roy Evans (The Other Side of Vegas) and Dj Rob Alahn (Unfiltered Soul/1Stop Dj Sop) do a quick side by side comparison of the E&S DJR-400 vs. Condesa Lucia Firecracker.

Love the vibe man . If im ever in vegas i will come to one of your parties .
Love the review and music guys!! What speakers were you using for this video by the way please?
So the E&S has no trim/gain pots and no channel meters, but is IC-based and has an active mix bus, right? The Taula appears to be a better-built iteration of this concept, not to mention the trim/gains and meters. The Condesa is based on the Bozak -- a passive mix bus fed by just resistive pots, followed by a glorified mic preamp and bus for the cue?
good video, i just received my carmen v 4 channels, beast !
Congrats... The Carmen is truly beastly!
Happy with my condesa Lucia One thing that you didn't mention you have the swith phono cd at the top of the mixer so i use it to cut what is really hard to achieve with the rotary.
it's a direct cut but when you have two vinyls together it's ok !! i use it everytime like that since 4 years now and i have no issue with the switch or nothing else.
Now there is a djr200 aswell wich is cheaper i presume.
Cheers
I love my E&S 400, but it needs some basic repair. Does anyone know a reliable resource that does professional work on this mixer in the US?
Thanks guys. Would’ve been better to A-B them using the same trax...next time?
They did...pay attention...
E&S!!
Do I need a soundcard with these mixers?
With the DJR 400 you can order line or phono in as you want !!!!!!!!
e&s djr 400 vs Ars mixer?
How about a MasterSounds
Radius 4V and the Bozak AR-4 battle of the valve against the no valve mixer.
We may have to get in a 2x4 and properly run 'em. lol Stay tuned to instagram.com/the_other_side_of_vegas/ for a heads up.
Radius 4 is better...
Where's episode 2 :(
The E&S sounds like a straight up performer’s mixer. Candesa’s mixers sound great too.
Please mention the songs again!
Moby - Another Woman, remix
How do you know what they sound like on a low grade yt video which is just a recording? Lol..bad comment to make!
Who did this remix of another woman? This one is a banger ❤
yo Roy! I was like " I know that guy!"
Hahahaha
maybe the E&S is flatter???..I dont know because I used rotary mixers sparingly, since I get busy and scratch,juggle,blend,cut,mix,etc,etc...
I’ve had the E&S mixer several times. Sounds good but sold it each time for several reasons. No standard mic input, although I hear it brings more noise to the mixer. It’s difficult to find the cue button in the dark. Newer models have an light next to the cue button. The flimsy 2 prong power adapter to convert the voltage. The ridiculous labeling of the phono 2 but no line input and the LED meter is useless. Each of the ones I owned had a 60 cycle hum. That’s the main reason I sold them. IMO, although not analog the Rane MP2015 offers the most for the money in a desktop rotary mixer.
I have owned a E&S DJR-400 in the past and you make some valid points, although it does sound absolutely awesome, although I think the best rotary around now is the Alpha Recordings System 9000, that mixer has the best sound and workflow layout of any rotary I've ever tried ;-) peace, Sev.
@@sevrin1965 I agree it's definitely one of the best sounding, but the cue buttons and LED meter are identical to the E&S.
Where do they play real house music in Las Vegas?

min 4:20 LOL red shirt kid.
to mix with those digital dishes is to waste money on analog presses, with a good Ecler you burst your speakers at any party while maintaining those same digital dishes.
Not sorry to say but that E&S DJR 400 is so much better its a monster
For an extra $2k they should.
Not really, sound is a subjective thing but most ppl including me who have listened to both agree that Condesa is a far better sounding mixer. One thing i like more in djr is the isolator.
@@Dubberzz The E&S is only around 2k no?
Americans always take so long to say anything
