  • I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
    I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
    Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

      ... Really? And this time there was not even an idiot with an excavator to fix the flood the beaver were moved for.

    • @phillee2814
      @phillee2814 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Well, they clearly cared enough about the road to do that much, so flagging it may be worthwhile unless it would just result in more idiots with excavators busting it up.

      Thought clearing that culvert would take all day. Made quick work of that job! Photos and scenery there always so beautiful. Apologize Post, would've ran over those leeches without a second thought. As a kid had one on me, it had laid thousands of babies crawling up my leg. Most disturbing! ♥️🤭♥️🦫♥️🪵♥️. Was beginning to think those beavers had a twenty year plan out there! Take care, stay safe!

      From reading previous comments, someone theorised that there's something in the human brain that works opposite from a beaver's. Instead of wanting to dam up flowing water, we enjoy the sound of it. 😁

    Beavers evolved to hate the sound of flowing water which is why they build dams
    Post10 evolved to crave it
    Their rivalry is legendary

  • @chriscooper654
    @chriscooper654 2 ปีที่แล้ว +33

    Maybe word of your dam-busting has spread through the beaver community, so when they realize that's YOU taking their dam apart, they throw up their little webbed paws and say "Forget it, let's just go back to Canada, eh." It's the beaver equivalent of the Great Resignation :D Stay well, post10.

    I really can't help but think...several times a year, you wake up in the middle of the night, in a cold sweat, shaking violently, after having survived yet another horrible twisted nightmare, where you are surrounded by thousands of angry beavers, in the woods, at your most memorable location. All chanting in unison..."get him...get him, we will make you pay"! :-)

    I love it that you care about even the smallest creatures and don't want to run them over.
