Definitely not worth an upgrade if you already have the River 2. The UPS is definitely a nice feature that got upgraded. I don't use the unit as a UPS so I didn't speak about it in the video. Thanks for watching!
I'm considering this one after experiencing yours on SPW. 😁 I have 500Wh and 2kWh power stations, but I gonna get something smaller for personal devices.
I'm really curious to see if the new "X-Gan" feature is as good as advertised. You touched on it a bit but pretty please if you can do a more in-depth test. On the ad it says the X-Gan feature can double the usage time of appliances using less than 100 watts(the ad says it can power the WIFI for 30hrs instead of 15hrs.) Thank you and more power to your channel.
Hi there! I didn't run the device for 30 hours to test but I did ran it for 5 hours or so. The inverter uses about 7wh of power. So I'm doubtful that it runs double the time. It is more efficient but double the run time is quite the stretch. Thanks for watching!
I like how the price of batteries keep on getting cheaper. I bought a 2kwh power station 3 years ago for $1.6k, that’s $1.25 per watt. It has dramatically decreased since! Thanks for watching!
You're right! I was looking at the specs for the River 3 plus and got mixed up. The River 3 plus has 5 years warranty. Not sure why there's a difference in warranty in the two unit.
Not sure it's worth an upgrade but worth it to get whichever is a better offer. I have the new one and use it as a UPS on my TV. Works well for that

It’s definitely more convenient to carry this small battery station around than the bigger power station! Thanks for watching!

It's going to be crazy one day when these batteries/power stations get even smaller than they already are.

Good review. Neat new River 3 line. We also like the EcoFlow products.
Ecoflow definitely has some of the best battery products!t thanks for watching!
I think Ecoflow dropped the ball removing USB C charging. I can use my iPhone USB C charger to charge my River 2.
Oh, I didn't know that you can charge the river 2 with a USB C! I'll have to give that a try some time!
Can you plug 220v 60Hz devices on it? Or only supports 120v
It only supports 120V devices. Thanks for watching!
Does it get warm inside the tent?
It only gets warm when fast charging via AC input. If you leave it normally in a tent, it won’t get hot. Thanks for watching!
I really wish it had 2 usb c and also able to charge via USB c.
Grr....
@@AngryMeditator totally agree with you! I wished this since the River 2 but it still hasn’t changed!
It's a 2 year warrenty, not 5.

Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Is this a review or a sponsor spot?
I stated my affiliation with Ecoflow honestly in the video.
