Great tutorial of how to do it Martin. Now I need to make the same tower for my garage ;) 👍
Hi Edmar thank you! Yea get one made it’s definitely worth having one
Я также добавил русские субтитры к своему последнему видео «Will The Dents POP Out».
like your cup. Love What You Do.
Hi Bill it’s good isn’t it!
I was at a customers and he brought me a drink so I took a pic for Instagram! But it’s a great pic!
All the best for 2022
Great work, will definitely be building mine. I especially love the channel attached to the floor. That was the missing piece of the puzzle for me. and solves my problem of buying a traditional body shop pulling tower attached with floor pots. 👏👏👏
Hi Nelson PDR my pleasure if you need any pointers just get intouch. I’m sure all the measurements are on the videos. It’s a very sturdy puller and solid when anchored into the floor
Thanks Martin
Did you draw up plans Martin? Awesome bit of kit by the way 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 loving your channel.
I changed the way I secure our diy pulling tower - we used chain it to one of the workshops uprights - the new version doesn't need any floor/wall/chain retention - and it works great day to day - you might be interested in how it secures, just a handy way to do it - I stuck up a short vid on my crappy little channel, you'll get the gist if you have a look.
Would never have thought of building one without you showing your version - mine has since done a world of work, so thank you for the inspiration. :-) .
Hi James! Thank you for a great comment and your feedback.
I could have start making my towers but couldn’t be bothered and would rather help people out showing my tower build. It’s amazing that you built your own…. Welcome to send pics to me if you like

Crackin job mate, looks awesome 👌
Hey hey you finally got 5 minutes to watch it!!
@@dentremover01 time is precious my friend, always busy doing something! 😉 hope you got a spare gas bottle in your shop this week, it's freezing out there! 🥶 🥶 🥶
Brill job,
Thanks Stephen 🙌🏼
Nice video 👌🏻 just subbed 👍🏻
Hey Daniel thank you much appreciated 🙌🏼
You clever sod. 🙏
Great job with the design and ingenuity of this project. I admit I am too lazy to do all that work, I would rather just buy one lol. As a safety precaution, I would throw a towel over the chain during use incase it decides to fly off at one point, don't want to get whipped by a chain.
Hi Javani thank you I really appreciate your comment and recommendation regards the safety. Yes your absolutely correct I use to do this when jigging vehicles and do have a blanket and bungee strap to limit any sudden shock or slap
Thanks again and all the best for 2022
Nice work but I think you should name it the power tower much more appropriate haha 🇬🇧💪
Happy new year Bill to you and your family. Yes your right I need a better name! I was thinking something like HULK!
Lol
👏👏👍
Thank you BK szarama
Thank from Poland 😀
great content and very informative, makes me want to dust off my old dollies and get back at it
Hi Junior4246 thank you! and Go for it!! aLL THE BEST FOR 2022
👍👍👍👍
Thanks again
You' ve been lucky You didn't fall into that mazda with You feet :D Normally is just paint left with no metal behind :D
Haha that Mazda panel flattened like paper!!
good morning
Afternoon Andy!😁
Hi mate, can you please elaborate what final changes you made towards the end of the video? And what porta power you used ? Good stuff mate. Thanks from down under.
Hi Amit. Yes sure do you mean the foot plate and over extension pin? Are you trying to make one yourself?
The porta power is a “powerTec” one which is an off the shelf kit
Hi Bro. Could you give the name of the glue did you use to apply to plastic flange ?
Hi Huy, it is Glexo hot glue
You should sell plans. Or give.
Hi Scott thanks for your message. I made the vids and added all the sizes for the project so viewers can make their own. Hope this helps?
Thanks Martin
Hi buddy!Am sorry am a real body shop repairer since 37 years!Never seen so weak chain to pull off fenders ok but not a girder!Same for the size of your hydraulic ram too light...
Hi EagleBaldone Tough thanks for your comments and thoughts.
Yes I know the chain is a weak one compared to a body repair shop but there’s a big difference in what repairs we carry out, I’m a panel beater too and use to use the dozers, clamps and big chains for pulling chassis legs out, boot floors, sills etc and this chain wouldnt last a second
Use if the above on a glue pull repair where we are sticking glue tabs to the panel I’d say it’s a little excessive and a lighter set up would work much better.
I’d be extremely suprised if the chain snaps on one of my repairs and il be the first to hold my hand up if it does. As for the karabiners, yes they won’t last long so the screw type are to be used.
The ram is rated to 4 tonne and from the repairs I’ve carried out upto now there hasn’t been an Issue In performance I can pump a dent out with one hand no problem.
I think only time will tell with this. I put a lot of thought into the tower and I’m confident it will work without any problems for quite a while
All the best for 2022 let’s hope it’s better than last year
Martin
I still think you should market the tower Martin. Lol
Hi James! Oh if I get a break in work I may make one or 2
See what happens! Thanks for watching and commenting and all the best for 2022

What's the best glue Martin?
Hi Paul. My favs are Glexo hot in the winter and Hawg (orange) in the summer (uk climate)
Where's the best place to get them?
The stuff I've bought online has been very poor, could you recommend a seller.
Thanks very much for replying 👍👍👍
@@paulpaintshop103 where do you live? Uk?
Yes Wigan, I have a small restoration shop and I'm interested in pdr to fill the gaps, I'm a Panelbeater by trade.
Please contact Kevin Andrews at Keco Uk in Peterborough.
