Amazing ! Its like your surfing a 50' wave and just shredding ! Not many people will ever experience the full potential of a snowboard like you do !!.. You the MAN !!!
Nice James!!! Realizing toe side really takes time to perfect and that it involves your knees , lead shoulder and hips . What is your advice in terms of % of weight& pressure you place on leading knee while initiating your turn and how much is distributed back between the 2 knees while completing the toe side turn? Cheers
This is the kind of deep, effortless carving to which I aspire! Can you do this in most conditions? (Right now I am trying to carve in north eastern icy crud and chunder.)
That's my gripe too. Conditions are rarely good enough to hold a deep carve around here and I live too far to get out for first tracks. We got a dumping of snow couple weeks ago and I was excited. By the time I got out on the hill the whole place was basically moguls.
I'm a conditions snob. I can struggle through some carves in many conditions but it's way easier and feels way better when the cord is firm and smooth!
My mistake, this one is actually the Coiler Contra 169 with a 12m sidecut, medium stiff. T3 titanal and Bruce Varsava's secret magical construction. You probably can't get one of these either...

It feels so great! Can't wait for the lifts to open up!
This is how many people imagine they carve when they "carve"

More of this plz! amazing
Coming soon...

I'm working on a "how to carve" video this week, your questions will be answered in detail...

Yeah, that happens.
@@cherrycarves Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to this season!
Nice turns. I was hoping for some switch riding or at least some side hits or something.
Look elsewhere for that. I only have two tricks: toeside and heelside.
What's the specs on this board?
That's a Jasey-Jay Anderson TCX 171, T4 titanal, carbon, 15m sidecut radius. Very stiff.
JJA makes the only T4 softboot carving boards on the planet. No, you probably can't get one...

@@cherrycarves But, but... I want one!
Thanks for the reply. What is the ww, and which nose shape does this board have? Looks like it carves amazingly well.

I doubt that... Ryan and I are friends and have a lot of mutual respect.
