Hi! I've used mixes with great success. I always have Publix buttermilk pancake mix on hand [it's a just-add-water mix, but I add a little oil for a crispy waffle]; however I recommend KrustEaz - they make a great waffle and it's available nation-wide. Bake, cool, freeze briefly uncovered, wrap and store for later, toast, and enjoy! ^_^
Just like most things in life, it's optional :) Whipping the egg whites adds air and volume, making the waffles light and crispy. I love them that way, but make them as you like. I sometimes don't whip the eggs at all and it comes out fine, just a little more dense. Have fun cooking! ^__^
Hello. I like to toast my waffles at about 200°C for about 5 minutes in a small toaster oven. I do not know how long the frozen waffles last in the freezer as I have not tested this. I make a batch on the weekend and eat them during the week. Happy cooking!
Makes mornings so easy! Thank you.
I love this! I didn't even know they made a waffle maker that small, I will definitely have to look for that.
loved this. tried it but only had the large waffle maker. still came out great. I eat these on the go for my long hour commute
Just ordered one about an hour ago. Can't wait to try it out

No one asked what that deliciousness was in the squeeze bottle?🤯
Looks like sweetened condensed milk
Maybe simple icing
Correct, Isabela! Sweetened condensed milk, nectar of the gods ^_^
Awesome Simple Recipe thanks!
does freezing the waffles make it crispy?
Hello! I freeze them in open air like that to remove excess moisture, which helps them crisp, so yes! Happy cooking ^_^
Great vid. Does the egg really need to be separated and whites whipped like that?

Hi! How many degree celsius did you use to reheat it in the oven? And how many days can the frozen waffle lasts? Thank you :-)
