Many black people are integrated in the USA. I'm italian and I keep on watching movies where black people have important roles in society ( lawyer, doctor, airplane pilot, teacher, policeman and so one). @@af5433 they matter as well but they still contribute to the prison industrial complex. This isn't a system that relies on bad people, it's a system that relies on BODIES. The system itself is sustained by itself, not people's intentions. Individual racism could disappear tomorrow and systemic racism would still do a number on people of color.
