Great recipe! Thanks for the tip on the process to coat with flour and bread crumbs; that’s a great idea!!

I'm always interested in looking at different recipes, and find it amusing when someone or a company claims to have invented a food. My grandmother must have been a time traveler, because she would make chiles rellenos out of poblano , long banana peppers , some long red ones I don't remember the name and jalapeños too, it always was dependent on what was available at the time. The only thing I will say is she didn't use cheddar or yellow cheeses it was always a locally made one , or one she used herself.

A secret to keep your hands and everything you touch from burning if you don’t have gloves is rub your hands down and olive oil. Rub your fingertips, your fingernails, the front and back of your hands. Rub and rub them good. Rub that oil in! That neutralizes the capsaicin oil in jalapeños and keeps your hands from burning. Give them a good wash after you’ve really scrubbed your hands and it won’t burn.😉
    Thanks for the video!

@@juliekoester7776 great advice! This makes sense and if not heard of it before, very similar to barrier cream at work.

Anchor may have trademarked the name poppers for stuffed Jalapenos a name I never use since I fell in love with Stuffed Jalapenos at a Mexican restaurant in Connecticut around 1988. Chiles Rellenos are usually stuffed Poblanos. These ones I loved were stuffed with cheddar and Monterey jack so far as I know, could be wrong. They are far far better than Jalapeno poppers. Most Mex or Tex Mex restaurants that serve Poppers are not made on-site but bought from Food Service distributors and are stuffed with cream cheese which in my own opinion can not compare. I had high hopes for your recipe until i saw the cream cheese. Sorry, personal taste.

second batch I minced the inside of the peppers and added 1/4 of it into the cream cheese to make it hotter. I also fried up pepper coated bacon, chopped it fine, and added that to the inside with a little salt to bring it back into balance. It was a hit at my bbq family, and neighbors love it, and look forward to having them at parties again!
