  • I don't take requests.
Rendered (not recorded) at 4k because of TH-cam's terrible bitrates.

Yes, the DTS trailer fades into the THX trailer.

Can I ask how did you capture the DTS audio?

I had to use a special device and special software to capture. Namely a U24XL and Sound Forge because of ASIO. Then I have to use DTSparser to turn the raw WAV into a DTS file and a special XVI script to make said DTS file usable.
It's a lot of hassle, trust me.

@@homevideogallery Oh wow… that sounds like quite the ordeal! I was going to say because on the video, the channels were mapped incorrectly. If you’re able to capture the DTS audio as uncompressed WAV at 48kHz, you can always use this DTS-HD Master Audio suite encoder and make sure the signals go into the correct channels.

@@logosandopenings Well, that's the thing. I capture as a WAV, and said WAV is just the pure bitstream noise. For this kinda stuff it's honestly just better to keep it as-is for a more "authentic" experience... for as "authentic" as you can seriously get with TH-cam uploads.
Honestly, for all the stuff I've been re-capturing directly digitally for AC-3 and whatnot, I've been putting myself through the wringer recently. It's a lot of work that goes into all this, getting everything timed *just* right, then reuploading for an "as close to perfect as it gets" upload. I tend to strive for perfection for how crazy it drives me some days. But, I'm still proud of my work all the same as I know it's as good as it'll ever get and that my work is done.

@@homevideogallery I definitely understand and feel you with striving for perfection, nonetheless I think you've been doing an amazing job with these openings! Thank you so much for all your hard work.
