I missed it as a kid back then and I didn't see it until a couple months ago, but I still thought it was awesome even without nostalgia-glasses. Really cool and unique movie.
Being the weird kid and a black sheep when this came out, I looked at this movie like little kids in the 50s looked at Peter Pan. I wanted to "go home", but it only existed on film.
My favourite film. Absolute perfection 😍 There is a longer version out there, THE ULTIMATE CABAL CUT - containing all known existing and restored footage (3hrs 19mins) - even MORE NIGHTBREED!! It makes the previous versions seem like teaser trailers. Theatrical Cut - 1hr 41mins Director’s Cut - 2hrs 00mins Integral Cut - 2hrs 13mins Leaked Cabal Cut - 2hrs 25mins Official Cabal Cut - 2hrs 25mins (different footage to the leaked version) ULTIMATE CABAL CUT - 3hrs 19mins You can find it. But they’ll only take you if you’re worthy. No maps. North of Athabasca, East of Peace River, North of Dwyer…
I used to have the novel. I could be wrong but it feels like these monsters just wanted to be left alone. they would only harm you if they had no choice.
I dont want a remake, relaunch, or reimagining. I want a continuance of the movie for 500 hours longer. THATS what I want. Same effects, same film, same actors (or as close a fuggin possible), same storyline.
If it's made by Clive Barker yes!!! Otherwise not at all. Please don't ruin another masterpiece!! It tooks 20 years to have a decent cut of the film because how bad the industry butchered Barker original vision for political correctness lol.
You have a gew things wrong. 1. Boone never tried to commit suicide, this becomes apparent in the director's cut, Boone was hallucinating the whole time. 2. Narrciess describes Median has a city, not a cemetery, or city under a cemetery. 3. Bephomet has always been a God, has Peliqien describes him" Gods an astronaut". No animosity. Nightbreed is my favorite movie/Comic series, Cabal my favorite book.
The book Cabul, written by Clive Barker, which became Nightbreed, I so love this movie Paloquin would be my favorite character." Everything's true, Oz is over the rainbow. The Medians is where the monsters live, and you came here to die!
I didn’t see this movie till recently but I thought it was funny how Boone tried to get into Midian and peloquin cusses him out then tries to kill him. Lori waltzes into Midian and he just hits on her and lets her go. He’s like the bouncer at a club lol
Movie franchaise? How many movies are there? As far as I am concern, there's only 1 movie with alternative endings and cuts, but Nightbreed is only 1 movie, you need more than 3 to make a franchise or a saga.
Ultimate Cabal cut was a bit of a mess and shows how much of a movie is made in the edit. I always thought growing up the film would be completely different and a masterpiece. I read the novel specifically to read about what might have been cut out and was disappointed it was essentially the same narrative. Directors cut is the best version overall. Theatrical cut is a much shorter mess. It’s a good movie but no more which is a shame as I built this up in my mind.
The ending to the movie Nightbreed was somewhat disappointing, leaving all who survived the fight against the naturals as for the Berserkers where had they all disappeared too, they can't die but they're also a volatile species against Adult naturals but know innocence especially children they kill Adults sensing their evils of man.
How is one movie “a franchise”? The term you should use is “cult classic” because apart from the original novel and a few comic book adaptations…this movie is pretty much forgotten outside of Barker fans
Because there's a book, movie, comics, comic crossovers, it's a franchise kid. Franchise isn't just for movies, it's an ip that has several outlets, which it does. You said it yourself.
Such an underrated Dark Fantasy Horror Thriller film from director Clive Barker, based on his own story.
Dr. Decker is one of the most underrated movie villains ever. He's very hateble while being scary. Cronenberg really shines in this movie.
I loved this movie as a kid. I never found it scary at all but I loved watching it. Such an underrated movie.
I missed it as a kid back then and I didn't see it until a couple months ago, but I still thought it was awesome even without nostalgia-glasses. Really cool and unique movie.

The monsters are the good guys in this movie. I love it!
The Cenobites represent order while the breed represent chaos.
Cronenberg's Mask scared the BLANK out of me as a kid, i only saw that 1 scene where he looks up at that kid but it stayed with me. Creepy Good Mask
My favourite film.
Absolute perfection 😍

Give us a straight answer and don't quote the movie

I want the Jihad storyline to be adapted to the big screen. It was a Hellraiser nightbreed crossover.
YES!!!
Fantastic story. I would love to see it too!
I wonder who win in that War, because I only see few Nightbreed survive & more picture Nightbreed being mutilated...
Me to it was good
I love Nightbreed! I would so love a Nightbreed & Hellraiser crossover like there was in the comics! They need to do the Nightbreed 2 sequel!
It's definitely one of my favorite movies !! Plus, it's Canadian !
Ever since I first saw the director’s cut, I’ve been absolutely obsessed with this story. I wish more people knew about it!!!
The movie when the monster is the hero. Hope there will be more in the future
Monster in nightbreed is one of the most underrated horror movies ever made
I loved this movie as a kid, and eventually grew very disappointed that there was no sequel... the end of the movie pretty much demanded one.
There's comic books that take place after the movie.
The jihad storyline in nightbreed and Hellraiser graphic novels put them both in the same universe.
I’d love for the stories to be continued in one form or another, I feel like all we saw was the beginning!
Nightbreed is one of my favorite horror movies from my childhood it is truly an underrated gem
Clive Barker is fantastic.
I loved this movie!
I used to have the novel. I could be wrong but it feels like these monsters just wanted to be left alone. they would only harm you if they had no choice.
Great film👍

At 1.54 there's a painting in the psychiatrist room which explain the masonic steps a mason must walk in the temple.
Love this movie gives me chills every time💯💯💯🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
I'm normally against reboots, but I'd love to see this remade..
I doubt the societal subtext would make it into a re-boot. Most likely end up with a mcu cgi masterpiece of fluff.
Maybe… but it “could be” an awesome CGI/Animation movie 👌
If it's made by Clive Barker yes!!! Otherwise not at all. Please don't ruin another masterpiece!! It tooks 20 years to have a decent cut of the film because how bad the industry butchered Barker original vision for political correctness lol.
They have been talking about a series for years.
I’d love to see an adaptation of ‘Jihad’, the Hellraiser vs Nightbreed crossover comic. That could double as remake, reboot and sequel.
I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of this movie.i just watched this yesterday on TH-cam
💯❤️👑❤️💯
about time, i noticed there were some you left out of the original list
Cradle of filth makes so many references to clive barker movies, even one of their albums are called midian.
the Directors cut was good just wish it would of come out sooner
How have I never heard of this before your videos

Who the hell "reproduced" these things
I would like to see This Night Breed story made in to Mini series for Television myself!😉

I love nightbreed I can't believe it took so long for me to see it 🧐😎🎯 I notice many similarities to lord of illusions

Save me from my enemies! 😈
He burned me, master!

Love this movie
My favourite is Kinski; like a dark take on Mac Tonight lol
I love this movie.
Midian is like Apokolips from the New Gods, only the monsters are the good guys.
I care what God thinks 😎
Midean was outside of Edmonton Alberta in the movie.
'Ain't nothing out there but dead folk'
😂
Did anyone else see Franchise and think there were other movies 😢
Barker runs loops around Stephen King.
A real super video ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Claude PELOQUIN is an ilustrious artist fromr canada.
Epic film

Sooo many of the creatures have been left out, from both the film and comic. Such a misleading title. I demand changes to be made
THIS I COMMAND!
Narcisse, played by some dude that looks like Ronnie James dio
Kushnir's just an Orc. He ain't thst ugly
You combined the priest and the doctor?
More MORE!!!
Who is the monster getting bathed when Lori first goes down
I'd watch that, even if it sucked.
Nightbreed was better then hellraiser

It does need a reboot
Of course some jacka$$ ratted him out.
Censorship is the most stupid concept ever. Ina few years all videos on TH-cam will just be black screens with beeps.

Thank goodness for the comics ...it’s a shame there was no sequel or tmremake
Night breed was kind of the x men of monsters
