      Why thank you Melissa! 😊 The rain has helped. It’s been nice not to run the sprinklers as much. This Summer has been brutal! 🥵

      Hi Alexandra! After so many rainy days waiting to garden, I decided why not film in the rain! 🌂🙂

    Hi Laura, this is just lovely! We are still in our summer dry weather here in the PNW. Our skies will turn grey and rainy soon enough, but right now I would love some of that gentle rain! Your plant combinations are inspiring, great foliage and flower color combinations. Thanks for sharing!

      Hi Susan! It’s funny, you would like some gentle rain, and I always envy your dry heat! I’m so done with this Summer’s humidity. 🥵 This rain yesterday with cooler temperatures was so nice! Thanks for your compliments about the combinations - it really means a lot! ❤️

    Aaahhhhh. The crickets chirping is music to my hears. This is the time of year when my garden also looks it’s best. Enjoyed the tour! Are the crabapples edible? Also do you have a video on Perineal Ageratum care?

    • @GardenSanity
      @GardenSanity  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you Sammy -- the early Autumn sounds of crickets, plus cooler temperatures is wonderful! I love Fall so much! I don't have a video (yet) on the perennial ageratum, but it's already on my list, so stay tuned! As for the crabapples, apparently they have a sour taste if eaten directly and are better in recipes instead. And then there's this little tidbit from WebMD: "A crab apple's flesh is perfectly safe for people to eat. But like other apples, the seeds contain a toxic compound that can turn into cyanide when eaten. But don't worry - these apples are safe as long as you avoid the seeds and core." Didn't know that about apples in general...learn something new every day! 🙂🍒

      Hi Laura. Could you do a video on all the flowering ornamental trees in your garden & briefly discuss each specs… I’m currently deciding which one to get to plant this Fall. I want something that get just 10-15’ tall or smaller. I have a small suburban garden in Queens. I’ve been looking at some Crape Myrtles but wanted some other options if you can chime in on this. TY! ❤

    I love your video. I have a Quick Fire Fab I need to plant. No sure if I have enough shade area for it. does. Will it not thrive without that?

    • @GardenSanity
      @GardenSanity  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you Melanie! 😊 Quick Fire Fab doesn't need much shade, as it does best in either Full Sun (6+ hours of sun per day) or Part Sun (4 to 6 hours of sun per day). I hope this helps!
