“I’m going on an adventure!” **is always the one who bolts it to the mine while the rest of the friends are pissed stuck at the farm watering everything**
I love the game, but hearing spri time music after the long winter is something that jus can't be beaten. Stardew Valley's soundtrack is so absurdly optimistic and beautiful, I've fallen in love with it time and time again.
To be honest, I grew up on Harvest Moon (new and old) and I have to say that Rune Factory 4 (3DS) takes the cake for best farming, action, adventure sim I've ever played. This music makes me feel like old Harvest Moon.......how does this game stack up compared to HM and RF4?
The only Harvest Moon I played was on the PS2, and I heard it was one of the worst ones, so I don't have a good comparison, but..... I thought it was a pretty good game, but THIS GAME, is waay better like omg best game GOTY 2016/17
I love Stardew Valley so much. It’s my favorite video game of all time. It’s hard to describe just how special it is to me, and I also love how it was made by just one person. Eric Barone truly is a master at what he does and I’m so thankful for his wonderful talents!
I grinded this game on my xbox in 2017. Came back to it two years later and instantly brought tears to my face remembering all the good times. Growing all those poppies and bringing them to Penny's house. Marrying her. Having kids... ahhh. Childhood
At its core, I think Stardew Valley is a game about community. Everything meaningful that happens in the game comes from interacting with others and the world around you. The farming aspect is a simply a means to progress further in helping and interacting with the citizens of the Valley, who are the real heart of the story
I knew something sounded a bit off in the mobile version. The mobile version quality is much less (perhaps to save space in your phone)... Oh well, thanks for posting this beauty in all its glory.
When I first fired this game up, this was the song that got stuck in my head so badly and basically hooked me on the game. The entire soundtrack is a gold mine of 16bit nostalgia inducing tracks, but this one is the one I always think of whenever I think of Stardew. I grew up during the NES/SNES era and playing this and hearing the soundtrack made me feel like I was playing some lost SNES adventure game.
I remember when this game came out and watching people play the game back in 2016 and then me finally having a pc and being able to buy the game in 2018 good times good Memories
Brings back memories me spending all of my money on beer to give to Elliot (I know it's only a liked gift it was all I had access to) so that one day I could go into his cabin so that "The story will continue". I somehow didn't realize that the Community Center was the important thing for me to do and the game wasn't a "story" game. Also reminds me of creating a sunflower empire on my first farm so that I could marry Haley while watching DangerouslyFunny's Stardew Valley videos and thinking I was cool because my parents wouldn't let me watch swearing youtubers at the time when DF would say the occasional "Damn". Didn't realize how great the game was until after getting back into it 2 Summers ago after about a 1 year long hiatus. I remember having 3 kegs in front of my bed and turning 30 melons into wine then putting it into casks and then hibernating for 2 months. Those were the good old days and I still like to go onto that farm because it was my first ever farm. Sorry for the extremely long comment (although it doesn't compare to some of my other ones just saying)
+MushyBird McMushington (the Mushiest of Birds) Beware it's evil.... evilness! but seriously I like the game. everything, that is, except for the Pelican Town music.
This was the very first song I heard on my first day playing the game. About twenty seconds in, I knew Stardew Valley was gonna be something special. I was *entirely* correct. ^_^
It s unbelivable how good these songs match every season, like stardew valley might officialy be in my top 10 games of all time, and the fact that it s made by a single man(god).... I can t belive i haven t played this game until now...
I wish i can play STARDEW VALLEY as soon as i can i listen to all the music's of STARDEW VALLEY iam 10 i want to play ittttt i will probably get it in 1 month or "in two years that's alot of time :( i hope i get it in 1 month or i will be very sad for the rest of the 2 years plz pray for meh!
so far this is one of the best songs i've experienced so far. i love the winter themes but i'm still only in summer lol edit: i stand by what i said, this is the 3rd best song imo. made a playlist of my favs in order but anyways, after year one, i missed this song playing in-game. i got way too tired of listening to it on here but now that i'm back in spring and married, this song has so much more meaning and emotional feel to it. still REALLY loving it. thanks concernedape
I feel really sad, happy and nostalgic when I hear this song- Even if I only have 30 hours of gameplay, on year 2, did a SV exodus for 9 days and is probably not even half of the content- It feels like, an adventure is going to end while also sounding like a new adventure begins- IT FEELS LIKE IM AT THE END OF THE GAME EVEN IF I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN AN END OF SV
this game has so much ost and yet i feel like most of the time the game is silent. like the music plays at a random time and it does not play continously.
Indeed , kinda annoying that stop at times , even the music box that you are given at some point only plays music while you are IN the house so kinda pointless because you will be there for like 20 secs before leaving lol.
Ah, the beginning of a new year-
*_where did all of this grass come from_*
@MARGARET JENSEN Any good player would of stocked up for 2 months 0_0
...I wish I knew before I spent a full year just to empty it.
Today I hit my year and asked myself that same question: DAMN!! :D
Iam actually in the year 15 of the game.
@SkullKnight me after installing the golden clock and the grass comes back anyway at years start.
**Confused Noises**
Farm Animals, about to let out of their barns: I HAVE BEEN WAITING ALL WINTER FOR THIS MOMENT.
When you actually give the game a chance you realize that It's so much more than just a farming game.
True dat
But it still is basically a farming game.
@@mayonnaise2396 no, there is something inside the game, something that really deep, far beyond the words "Farming Game"
The Death Above it is a farming game, though. What is so different?
@@mayonnaise2396 it is better tho bc it has more to do than plant and harvest, plant and harvest

You can do anything without certification if you put your mind to it, kinda like driving, you can do it, but it could go either way.
Its a work of love

@MARGARET JENSEN umm... this is game by Eric Barone. And bot Toby fox and Eric barone have created music for many projects before their games

I did a lot of mining so Emily was my choice
...also that quest with Clint where he asks you to bring Emily an amethyst happened and from Emily’s reaction I stole her from Clint :I and Clint hates me
Stardew Valley's music is the perfect blend of "This is so relaxing!" and "Adventure!"
Yes
“I’m going on an adventure!”
**is always the one who bolts it to the mine while the rest of the friends are pissed stuck at the farm watering everything**
I recommend RuneFactory 4 to any Stardew fans who want more of that blend.
Yeah!
@@crimsondynamo615 I water the farm and go to the mines while they do whatever lmfao.
A calming theme while fishing in the river for a damned catfish that keeps swimming away
Blueberry101 catfish? I've been trying to fish a chub for months and I never manage to get the damned one.
Chub are pretty easy to catch, catfish are the hardest spring fish
Blueberry101 I mean they were a bit of a challenge but as long as you focus, its quite easy to catch catfishes
Well if your hearing this music, stop fishing for catfish because they only come out on rainy days!

I love the entire stardew valley soundtrack, but The Valley Comes Alive is far and away my favorite song.
I love Nature's Crescendo
Hen Barrison The Outlaw is awesome as well

Same, same!!! Wonderful tune, this song should be played live in an orchestra 🥰
Especially at 3:01
when I heard this song, I was saying myself "this is going to be a good game"

How can you die? lol
Insted of dying in the mines I mean

Nearly solstice season by now, usually starts early now
This reminds me of the time when I woke up and walked out to my farm and all my crops had grown.
Fitting with the name of the music.

Felt at home
Almost has tears running down my silly smiling face
After i finished my first full year and this came back round, it slapped nearly as hard as the nostalgia from sweden
Spring is my favorite season in stardew valley. You suddenly wake up one morning, and everything is lively!
The whole song is amazing, but what I really love is the part that starts from 3:50 to the end. I wish it was longer, or even a whole song on its own.
this is one of my favorite sdv songs. it just feels so comforting, so at peace and at home, finally.

In the first year, on the 2nd day of spring, while hurrying to meet the towns people, I was at the same tempo with this music in the background.

this game has so much ost and yet i feel like most of the time the game is silent. like the music plays at a random time and it does not play continously.
