  • Transfercase upgrade for my 05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (LJ). Removed the NP241OR which is the strongest and best tcase Jeep installed in any wrangler. Tummy tuck transfer case skid, 1" body lift, no cutting or bending of the tub! All of this so I can do some front digs on tight trails and obstacles.

    What was the install time?

Did you have to modify the transmission mount?
    Thanks

Looking to do a flat belly, but looks like it's a extremely tight fit. Did you add 1.25" body lift? Or recommend what is needed to achieve flat belly? Great info 👍 thanks!

A body lift is pretty standard on a TJ or LJ. It makes for so much more room to do a tummy tuck, along with the engine mount lift.

Thanks for the great install summary man! Question... what tummy tuck t-case skid are you running with your 1" body lift?

I actually have no idea. Has been on the jeep since 2008. Looks similar to undercover fabs design though

I know this video on atlas install is old but I was curious if you had a body lift on the lj.

I know this video is old but I’m hoping your still here do you remember what the difference was in the driveshaft lengths I’m wanting to put one in mine but I already have Tom woods driveshafts and I don’t want to have to pay again if I don’t have to

I don't recall the measurements difference but if you have one in good shape already you can always have it lengthen or shorten. I went with a flange so a new shaft was needed anyway.

@@beachedferrari oh ok I gotcha now that you say that it makes sense their website says 14-16 weeks did yours take that long or are they just estimating?

@peytonmathis7460 it was a couple months at least from what I remember. But that we pre covid too

Man that linkage really looks like shit. An Atlas shouldn't operate like that

I did not, but it does have a lower profile mount from the shorter case skid I have
