Advance Adapters runs throuh a shifting demo on the popular Atlas Transfer Case. This video also touches on some of various Atlas tips, tricks, and break in.
If the transfer case is synchronized, yes, you can 4 high shift on the fly as long as you are not under heavy load or accelerating. The atlas is built for you if purchasing new and you will need to select from several options. You can choose synchronized or non-synchronized gears, gear ratio from 1.5:1 up to 5:1, drop left or right, speedo sensor housing or gear housing, input and output shaft splines and yokes. There are several more options as well but those are the main choices. If buying one used make sure you know all this info beforehand. :-)
Give us a similar demo on the atlas 4 speed!!! Awesome video
Great info. would benefit from a wider angle, though
What a beast!! Great product!
Nice video. Any chance of getting a similar video for the 4spd?
I have friends that I rock crawl with and they fly down the trail and go from 4lo to front dig low and any other tcase shift pattern imaginable...
What about a speedo hookup? Also, what about people who want to keep a CAD on a YJ?
Let's say I'm heading down the road and it gets a bit too slick for me, can I shift into 4 hi on the fly or do I need to stop?

shut that second guy up, the first guy had it better
Can the Atlas do front high without rear wheel drive
Yes, front high, rear neutral
The second guy talking over the first is ... extremely annoying. Ruined an otherwise great video.
Whats the lowest low range for the 2 spd Atlas
5:1
