Thank you Flo, there is so much value in you as a person. You are a real business woman. I value and like the shopping in Nigeria you are doing here. In fact everything you do and the knowledge application. I have been away for a long time so all the information de sweet me like eehhh. You film the journey showing us our beautiful Biafra Land, our Biafra People and the price and cost of things. Thank you so much, but the No. 1 thing about Flo Chinyere is everytime I set my eyes on you my mouth start watering. For the so many soup and food video I have watched you cook online. Thank you.
I never enjoyed my thermocool deep freezer I bought in Lagos. Eventually I sold it out. I mean the largest size. I have lost faith in thermocool brand. I hope this ones are internally good. All the best. Nice video.
Flo, I bought the LG double door inverter fridge 3months and I'm enjoying it. Jist follow your instincts. That dispenser fridge thing is a no no for me too.
I love the showroom of the thermo people that that freezer is fine. Is the generators with funny names for me. When it comes to buying electronic or home appliances in Nigeria I prefer LG products.
I love LG TVs and washing machine. Their cooker is good when it doesn't come with that useless hot plate. From my experience, their fridges and freezers only look good, not for Nigerian incessant power cuts.
Yes, that's what the kitchen cabinet contractor did. I just measured to confirm and also to see if another make would fit. We already made a decision on which fridge freezer to get even before the kitchen was built.
You are welcome. I already made my preferences known in the video. Fridge and freezer from Thermocool. Washing machine and cooker from LG. And for the LG cookers, I mentioned the one I prefer.
By the looks of it (and after a quick calculation) it's cheaper (or equivalent) to buy locally than to import from else where (ie Europe). I wonder whether the same applies to intra-continental purchases?
The prices are not so bad considering the prices of some of these appliances here in China where most of these are manufactured. I believe the shipping cost is actually what makes these things more expensive in Nigeria.
I am sorry, that's not my area. There are many channels already doing that. For instance, you can search "house for sale lagos" and you will see lots of videos.
O well. We all speak from our experiences. I like LG fridges just because of the sleek look. But na sleek we go chop? 😂 The speed at which they defrost or lose every atom of chill during power outage, eh? Mba o. So I'll give it to Thermocool when it comes to fridges and freezers. But for washing machines, air conditioners, I prefer LG.
@@airsay LG freezes fast but does not last long after power outage, but thermo on the other hand does not freeze fast but when it does freeze stays longer than 4 days before it starts defreezing. I use both product
@@chinenyeodozi7677 My double deck LG with the freezer down and fridge up, freezes fast, and stays up to four days. I used it where there was no power supply for 2yrs. So it is good where there is sparse power supply. But Thermocool develops faults easyly, takes time to freeze, but also retains it. The best for me now is Skyrun freezer.
🙄🤣! "Nwangbake" fridge... Big sis that's the normal price ooo, nothing like promo. You only gain that oil free... Wayo people 🤣 But if you ask me, LG is the best for me.
Thermocool the best in fridges and freezers? I doubt that. From experience LG Freezers and Refrigerators are the best. Scanfrost Freezers are way better than the Thermocool. I have used all 3 products and LG, Scanfrost before thermocool in order of functionality. The down side of LG is lack of anti-rust property on their freezers. LG blast freezers are one number, blast freezing technology is what powers modern cold rooms. Imagine having a Freezer with such inbuilt technology.
I have used both products as well and I must say that the way this Thermocool freezer froze everything in it within a short time, I must give it to them. Once there's power outage, in the next few minutes, my LG fridge will feel like it has not been plugged for the past 1 week.
@@FloFinance LG really? I never experienced such with my LG chest freezer. I think where the one buys electronics matters a lot. I bought my from Fouani (LG's main distributor in Nigeria) and it works perfectly. My aunt's own required more than a week to defrost her's for annual cleaning, for it was filled with ice(frost).
@@gometioghale8776 I always buy such from the main dealers. I have another video on my main channel of this kind of shopping at a Fouani shop in Lagos. The LG shop shown here is Fouani in Asaba. There are people selling LG products in Awka and Onitsha but we went all the way to Asaba to show you how I always buy directly from them. For me, LG fridges and freezers are not great for Nigerian constant power cuts. For a place with steady electricity, maybe.
@@FloFinance well our opinions are formed based on our different experiences. I have used thermocool Freezers, refrigerators both at home and my schooling days at UNN,when thermocool still produced good with technology. Then it began functioning, next thing gas got exhausted, refilled and refilled again. Also compressor developed fault at some point in time. Although the freezer compartment keeps well frozen during constant power supply but the refrigerator compartment barely chills well.
Yes, Thermocool is No 1 when it comes to chilling and freezing. Been using the brand for over 10years. Started with fridge, then Optima generator then freezer and 2years ago, I added the freezer then GenPal AC. Absolutely great quality for all! The hack? Get technicians from Thermocool to repair & service, otherwise most roadside technicians will spoil the electronics because their knowledge is not very updated to the newer models

Wow. Electronics are expensive in Nigeria. Thanks for sharing Flo.
They're really expensive. Literally the same prices as UK (as of Jan 2023).
Those import fees and shipping have to go somewhere to the cost. I wish and hope someone in Nigeria starts a company to build a lot of products there.

LG refrigerator with dispenser very nice, good to know the thermocool takes 5 days to defrost without power. Sounds great. Thanks for taking us along.
It will actually take 2 to 3 days (48 to 72 hrs) for food in deep freezer defrost after power failure. 120hrs is exaggerated.
