Hey, somebody in Hollywood. You need to put this song in a movie. Have them playing a Halloween party. They'll take off like Oingo Boingo did with Dead Man's Party.
That was a great show! Went to it with my daughter from Nashville and my grandson, Max, from Indianola. Max is 10 and he devoured Egyptian mythology after that show.
Had the Awesome pleasure of seeing these guys at the Mississippi Moon bar iin dubuque in May. All I could say all night was "wow". They were truely amazing. Such great musicians and great music. Please come back soon!!!!
My Gawd....the trumpet solo that starts at 3:33 - that Mummy can blow it to the top of the pyramid...then the whole brass section break that comes in at 4:14...crazy sweetness
@lawsonfam if they keep going on bob and tom they will get exposure,, Bob and Tom rock.. ive found alot of great new upcoming musicians listening to the show ,, been listening for 10+ years,, Keep the songs coming guys
I love the lead singer's voice❤. The one playing the bomgos (i dont know his mummy name) is hilarious😂, and good looking from what i can see of his face❤
They have admitted that they were unaware of the fact that The Mummies dressed up like actual mummies on stage. Also, musical acts dressing up in outlandish costumes is nothing new, but this particular group does it for a reason and not just as a stupid gimmick. They had already gained a reputation as Here Come the Mummies by the time they heard of The Mummies' whole stage act, so they just stuck with it.
This was at their best level. They unloaded the purple hat trumpet guy and everything went to shit. I stopped being a fan then, suspecting the lead guitar player of not being a team player. I could be wrong, not knowing the actual facts. But, they've never sounded better since then. Sorry for that.
@urgent43 They Say the mummy schtick is to allow them to play incognito and circumvent some inconvenient contracts. It's hard to believe that Those In The Know wouldn't immediately know who they are.
It wouldn't matter to the labels that they are contracted to. As long as they are not recording for another label using their recognized name, they are fine with it. It's the name power that they are concerned with.
Even while joking around, these guys are 1,000% more talented than pretty much any band out there today. Wow.
They are all professional musicians out of Nashville and it’s rumored some of them are actual Grammy winners that’s why they stay anonymous
Truth not just rumor..Raaaaaa!! @@bodavis9586
Great horn section. So much talent under wraps.

Please dont let them ever quit writing new music!
A group that 100% ENJOYS what they do!!!
They are an amazing band to see live, so much theatrics for songs about cunnilingus.
Yep, I love most of their songs.
A favorite is "Oh Zone".

Saw them last friday...and MAN did they put on a show. I was impressed. Live or bust.
If only more bands were as creative, and awesome as these guys
They are a collection of high profile musicians under other contracts. They conceal their identity and never speak w/o covering music/instruments.
I can't wait to see these guys in October!
Hey, somebody in Hollywood. You need to put this song in a movie. Have them playing a Halloween party. They'll take off like Oingo Boingo did with Dead Man's Party.
I dunno if you could say Oingo Boingo ever "took off."
A musician's memory is immense. All those notes.
The percussion breakdown was dreamy
My favorite lineup of the group!

I swear I'll never play Ra on @SMITE ever again without hearing this song.
I know what ya mean
This was at their best level.

But, they've never sounded better since then.
Sorry for that.
What happened to Oozie (purple hat guy)? Did he get kicked or left? I recently found this band and i really wanna know what happened
@@ross_boss he just left. This group rotates its members as they are part of other bands
let's hope that they expand beyond the regional exposure they get....they have what it takes to be big. So tight, so right, great musicianship
Eddie Mummy doing a ton of work on a little drum kit.
I LOVE HCTM

They weren't the first, but they are hands-down the best.
