Well, I must be on your radar scope. So many things you said hit home. I don't know how I got here, one of my children came in and spoke and when I looked back there you were, but I am so glad I did. Quick story.... I first found this craft while sitting with my dying husband, about 2 am. I found PAM@ the paper outpost and I was hooked.! She mentioned Nic the booksmith, so the next visit on the laptop I tried to remember [ talk about getting old ] I looked up Nick the bookmaker.....A whole different thing! Love this craft. Thanks.
I’m sorry to hear about your husband. Sending loving, healing vibes your way. ❤️ Pam and Nik are both amazing and both also inspired me as well. So so happy you’re here and trying this fun craft. I’m a scrapbooker of old and found this and was instantly hooked. Thank you for being here with me through this journey!
Love this project, you made me laugh when you mentioned your cast iron pots, when you said (I think I mentioned this story before, I dunno I'm getting old) that was hilarious. I thought I was the only one to repeat stories, hahahaha...love your channel. xxxx
I was just cracking up about the story on the comment that the person left on that video. That was hilarious 😂 Thank you for sharing your gift of crafting.
Just about to finish my first journal. This is a natural progression for me because I used to scrapbook then went to mixed media art. I have so much paper it’s ridiculous and now I have a new craft I absolutely love and can use all my supplies. Thank you so much for all the work you put into all your videos.
I'm a new subscriber so you may have already mentioned your past or current career, but I'm curious are you or were you a school teacher? I ask because you're such a natural at all your videos and I literally grab my stuff and have arts and crafts day(s) with you....and of course I laugh and giggle with you and answer your questions....for me CREAM CHEESE hands down!!😊
Hello and thank you for subscribing and being a part of my community! I was not a teacher, no. I’m glad you like my teaching style though. I appreciate the feedback 😊
Your videos are such an inspiration! I just started my first altered book junk journal and I'm so proud of how it's coming along. Every step takes forever but it's so worth it and I'm learning a lot already ❤❤❤❤
I love this series! I’m just learning about junk journaling and holy moly! The amount of videos is crazy good buuuut then I forget which video was which. I think my first junk journal will be a sampler like yours 😊
I really like your vibe. I put my tiny ephemera in a 1970ish type photo album I picked up from the Thrift Store. I have a few that still had the good sticky on it. There was a video I tried that used Mixed Media paper and double sided tape that I did as well and I am not a fan because I now have to glue everything in that album down and can not use it for stuffing in small pockets...but the album thing works great for me.
I can’t access the Facebook group through your link. Can you share the name of the group and the name of the lady who shared her tutorial please? Thank you. 💜🐞
This is how Ive started storying ephemera: th-cam.com/video/IOAnouc8F8s/w-d-xo.html I came across several videos of people using mixed media books and tape. For me it's a game changer. I do not use it for everything but works really well for what I do use it for! It may or may not be your cup of tea but thought I would throw it out there.
Glad seeing you use the black oxide as I have been using that a lot in my latest journal!! Like how it goes with the pages I am using!! I have not seen anyone else using the black! I am sure others do!
Kids foam is the play foam you can buy in sheets at the craft store. The ink Oxide question is a bigger one. I would search Tim Holtz Ranger videos. They have much better explanations.
I love videos like this I personally have a bushel of recycling envelopes love things made with them your work is unique thank you sharing your ideas and talents ❤ THEOLA

Those old albums are great. I have a few myself. I hope you can salvage some of the make. =) Thanks for dropping by.

It is Paper Crafters - Weekly Inspiration and Swap Events. The video they gave as inspiration was from Lilian Guerrero.

I love that it accents the outer edges so much better at times. I don’t use it often but it def stands out when I do.
Lovely way to use the junk mail we get. Your window envelopes are much better than ours here is Aus :😍
Thanks so much! 😊 are they? Maybe we can swap some?
I organize mine in jewelry zip lock bags. In categories.
That’s awesome! Great idea!!
Do you have a link for the march freebies you mentioned please? ❤
Hi there. The March freebie was only free during March but you can grab it now in my shop. HitherAndYonStudio.com
You are so sweet sharing your free kits. As a social worker who does not make much money this is a blessing for me. ❤

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feedback and I appreciate you being here with me and my crafty little space today.
What is the difference betwn oxide and ink. ? And what is kids foam?
Kids foam is the play foam you can buy in sheets at the craft store. The ink Oxide question is a bigger one. I would search Tim Holtz Ranger videos. They have much better explanations.
Loved this video and how to use the word envelope. Is there a tutorial on that paper clip?
