    I liked the idea, and the minimalism of the implementation.
    thanks for sharing!
    you'll probably laugh at this, but I've made 5 such stacks while watching you, because I had book pages at hand, from another project. I've only made the base, and decorated only one, but the job is 70% done on all the others.
    my greatest problem is having even one full hour to work without getting up to take care of something else. so having these little useful bits to do and store, for when I have time to cobbler a whole project together, is a god send!

      The Paper Outpost - thanks for the info and super speedy response! what a lovely family you have!!
      I heard the birds in the background, also, but wasn't sure if they were outside or in 😉
      we lost 3 beloved senior pets in the past year (cat and pug who were both nearly 16 years old- my pug was my "soul-dog" and I'm still grieving the loss 😵. we also recently lost a rat terrier of unknown ((very old)) age - we rescued her last fall from a local shelter.) we currently have a 3 year old pug rescued from the shelter a few months ago and a 5 year old Chihuahua rescued from a shelter a few years ago and last but not least a 13 year old English Springer spaniel we have had since a puppy.
      over the years I have had several Paso fino horses, some I bred and raised, as well as many, many dogs and cats including labs, wiener dogs, etc. somehow my barn cats usually ended up in the house 😊

    • @ThePaperOutpost
      @ThePaperOutpost  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JP-xp6pf Jp, you are an animal lover through and through. I understand completely. We lost 3 senior dogs ( very old at 17,17 and 18 years old) in the last 2 years. Ugh! Why did I have so many so close in age. But all the living days were worth all the pain in the end. I wouldn't trade those experiences for the world. They are and forever will be my babies :) Thank you for loving your animals the way you do :) Sincerely, Pam :)

    Don’t they have makeup holders that have little sections? They might be big enough to store your stickles(?) upside down in. The paint would stay in the tip, then, and there would be no air bubbles to splatter.

    When you use book pages do you worry about what they say? Are there specific type of books you stick too?

    • @TheCrabbyCrafterlol
      @TheCrabbyCrafterlol 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your projects- you get to pick and or decide.
      I’ve seen some who are very uptight and worrisome about what words show up.
      Some don’t even look to see what’s on the page as they make use of it.
      Some (my camp) tries to have words that somehow coordinate with whatever the project is. Last night making clusters I tore the “cluster” definition out of my dictionary and used that lol.
      As for specific books- the FREE and SUPER-CHEAP ones are quite popular😉😎 (library/community center free tables, second-hand stores - they usually have free bins of books that won’t sell too- friends’ basements, relatives’ attics…)

    Can I use manila folder instead of what you would put behind that strip to make into belly band please , I dont think it's same thickness but I'd have to buy more stuff , don't really want to as I still have to get the punch outs , I haven't got one of any

      Absolutely! You can swap out what you have on hand for anything I use! Thats very creative and resourceful! A crafter who embraces this concept will be a very happy crafter! :)

    What a great idea! I love it! I just also watched your video of making the envelopes covered with lace! I'm going to apply these genius ideas into my bible journaling as tip ins and also for the front and back covers inside...for storage! Do you have a link to the lady's video who made the clusters? Pretty straight forward by looking how to do it but never the less would still like to see the video. Thanks for sharing! New subbie here! I'm headed to watch your book paper series!

Leaving for the cottage soon (where I only have access to husband's iPad), so I'd like to take the opportunity to wish you a wonderful weekend. Off to the Swedish woodlands - and of course I've packed crafty things!! :)
