Hi Jeff and Cam! I don't know how I missed this one. Had to laugh when you pulled that piece of all-thread out of the fuse box. It immediately reminded me of the "folk legend" of the guy and his jeep who put a .22 bullet in place and you can guess the rest. lol Cheers and blessings from Motown.
This item is perfect for my 1979 Mustang Ghia. I want to keep the original AM/FM/8-Track player in the dash, and add a hidden modern radio setup, plus a CB with PA system. A previous owner already had a CB installed; the CB antenna is still in the car.
Hey guys, great video, as usual! I'd like to see a video on classic car security. Besides an alarm system, what can I do to keep my classic car from getting stolen?
Unfortunately if a thief wants it bad enough nothing you can reasonably do will prevent it from being stolen. Even modern day computer controlled cars that need chips and everything else to start can be stolen. Aside from using common sense when parking or storing your car your best bet is to use some sort of well concealed tracking device so you can hopefully get it back before it gets hacked to pieces.
I would add overall circuit protection to the system and put the fuse close to the battery. You'll want to put a fuse that is over the total amp load of the things placed on the fuse box. I'd use 14 gauge wire.

@@AutoRestoMod i was thinking 10 gage. I will be running a small air com presser for a air horn with 2 ,20 amp fuses.
Which accessory did you connect the fuse tap to looks like a 15 amp original source ?
The main wire attaches to the stater solenoid or to a solenoid link.
@@AutoRestoMod no i meant which source did you connect that fuse tap on the fuse box
Jeff check your email in a moment in regards to this
Ok bud.
