Great seeing more options available. I'm still watiing for my Mark 8.5 Style, its left the factory on its way to the UK. I wish VW had a system you could use to track where the car is.
Many congrats on your incoming MK8.5 facelift Golf Style 🎉 For sure that would be a great feature to know your build in more detail. I will mention that when I am next with Volkswagens PR team in a few weeks 👍
When did you order it? I ordered one back in start of June in Ireland. Absolutely no update at all whatsoever happening or when they plan to build it.
@@tommietolan Mine was ordered May 18th, told it had been made and left the factory on the 18th June, so a month which I thought was pretty good. I've had no further updates so guessing it is stuck in Emden waiting to get on a ship. Have you received any emails from VW? If the dealer has entered your email address into VWs system you would get an email saying its being planned and when it has been built, I received the following emails: "Your new Volkswagen adventure begins" - order has gone into their system, "We are getting ready to get started" - I suspect this is a build week allocated, then "The wait is almost over" which is when it left the factory. If you've had no emails at all then the dealer hasn't entered your email address, but the dealer should be able to give you some information.
I ordered mine 27th April saw the salesman Saturday and it is marked down to be built 26th August 😳 should arrive mid September he did say you get no tracking on a new car now so just emails well done on your new car though 👍
@@paulstubbs5148 Are you in Ireland too, I was told there is no tracking here for them either and he hasn’t gotten any update since 01st of June when it was ordered. The dealers is estimating September time for the 50 edition which was ordered. Time will tell, will have to have plenty patience I guess haha.

Will there be a uk edition 50? Also what’s the difference
The edition 50 is available here in Republic of Ireland, I ordered one when it appeared on the VW website back in June. If you have a look it offered the normally very expensive Oryx white paint finish for about 1/3 normal price, all the other colours are a no cost option.

This is the standard 1.5 TSI engine MK8.5. The R Black Edition is separate to this model with over double the power and 4Motion 👍
@@SamAustin They actually did a standard black edition? How come there is the R logo on this one?
Really not a fan of those wheels.
