Bizarre Moment Two Japanese Horror Film Ghosts Do Battle On The Baseball Field

- Ahead of the release of a film featuring two of Japan's most famous onscreen ghosts, the two characters faced each other on the baseball field.
Two of Japan's most iconic ghosts - Sadako and Kayako - battled it out on the baseball mound in Japan on 1st June to promote the upcoming film 'Sadako vs Kayako'.
The two leading stars from horror movies "The Ring" and "The Grudge" made special appearances at a baseball field in Sapporo ahead of a game between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
Sadako threw the first pitch which Kayako connected with before collapsing on the field. Her mythical son Toshio, ran to first base on her behalf.
The two characters later spoke to reporters, with Kayako predicting another victory in the film.
"Sadako vs Kayako," On screens in Japan from June 18, Distributed by KADOKAWA, (c) 2016 "Sadako vs Kayako" production committee.

You're wrong dude, we did something like this for the Freddy VS Jason movie. They were talking smack to each other as if they were getting ready for a match. America clashed they're horror icons DECADES before Japan did. Heck, go back further and you got Universals horror icons clashing as well. Dracula, The Mummy, The Wolfman, etc.

Thats one of the things I love about Japanese culture, they really show appreciation to the content creators ...the focus is never on the actors but more on the characters themselves.

That’s kind of a disgrace to the actors. In America, people like Kane Hodder for Jason, and Robert Englund for Freddy Krueger become legendary for their work with the characters. They bring them to life.
Oh but also, you may have forgotten the stuff going around in America back when Freddy and Jason were at their peak, because similar things like here happened.

A friend sent me this clip and didn't tell me what it was...just told me to watch it. Gave me chills all over again. I remember watching the first release of _The Grudge_ back in 2003. I was in my late 20s then and it gave me such nightmares. I never watched another Grudge movie again. After seeing this it has brought back all those dreadful feelings.

It's a good thing you didn't watch any Grudge movies afterwards too, apparently most of the sequels and remakes range from passable to kinda shit.
