- I got to play with the new cards a little early, and decided to try out Battlecry shaman w/ the Old Gods to see if I could get a double activation off. The deck was surprisingly good!

Yeah zeph is one of the best coding jobs they did in this game. But not sure why the hell was it giving fire elemental. Should have had blizzard in that place.

The fact that the first double new Yogg ever managed to hit the original Yogg effect both times beings me more joy than I can adequately describe.

This comment probably will get lost, but I was that Druid and that Warrior. I got smacked yesterday by Firebat three times in a row, but at least I managed to 2-1 Thijs and to beat RDU and Regis; it was a fun day. Strange feel to be the one getting destroyed twice in a Firebat video, but still a weird pleasure!
Interesting, at 2:01 the swipe casts twice, targeting the same minion even though it's already received enough damage to kill it. This is different than the "Double Time" treasure in the brawl mode, which casts, processes deaths, then recasts and selects a still-living target.
It makes sense that it would be this way based on the text of the card, just noticing it because it may trip some people up.
It's not obvious from the text for sure, but targeted effects that are doubled don't occur in two separate phases, whereas doubled effects with text like "targets chosen randomly" do.
It’s the same thing for effects like double Gluttonous Ooze. Idk if it works for harrison though, but assume it would.
It's actualy pretty consistent since it doesnt specify it being a random target, for example, the double battlecry heropower featured in this video also doesnt change the target of a doubled elven archer.

@@Gorbgorbenson harrison will only draw once, but it's cuz weapons are weird. Other weird examples: blade of c'thun will buff c'thun twice if the battlecry is doubled. Acolyte of Pain will draw if damaged twice, even if the first damage killed it.

I really like Yogg but I just don’t like how they reused the summoning audio for Mindflayer Khaarj. I would expect him to have a little more unique music like his OG
I think it fits the theme. Yogg is at a fair. He needs fanfare lol. The one I can't stand is C'thun once he's put together. Why couldn't they use the voice actor/sound effects from Whispers?

I keep forgetting how bad Zeph is at the start of new expansions
Zeph gave him exactly what he wanted for less mana, shadow word ruin would have killed the 2 5 attack guys for 4 mana, betrayal did the same thing for 2 mana less lol.
If anything Zeph just proves that most players can't process non-meta cards.

I wonder how good an 8 old god deck would be. the old C'thun cards should buff the new C'thun as well, you'll probably never get to use the extra stats after dealing 30 damage but it'd still be cool.

I had a double Yogg I got to play one I was defeated by the card that copies previous cards played, though I'm not fond of the economics... duels is a great addition and i'm enjoying the gameplay.I'd like to get my wild deck going :\

Do the Old Gods C'Thun buff cards also buff this version of C'Thun too? You know ... they buff him wherever he is, so also split across 4 spells in your deck before you manage to assemble him?

With duplicates included, you only need to be the top 30 cards to be worth including in a deck, regardless of how bad you are.
it's not absolute trash but it also doesn't really do anything amazing or that Shaman really needs, you already have a stupid amount of removal effects, he had it in the decks because he was playing Highlander

I don't understand why Zeph would offer you Sorc Apprentice over Flare when you have 1 spell in your hand. The other 2 I can understand since it is +4/+4 and "best 2 drop", but Zeph REALLY should offer flare if your opponent only has stealth minions.
Zeph seems to still have some problems of offering the perfect card
Sorc is an option because zeph doesn't know what's in hand
@@azen1124 Zeph definitely checks your hand because he offers lethal outs if you have fireball in hand or whatever.
@@amethonys2798 i'm sure he doesn't. Checks board and counts cards in hand or Minions on board for Mukla and Giants but he has no clue. Your hand is incognito for him. 100% sure.

I like that idea a lot, Plot Twist in particular makes it very easy to fish for the pieces even if they're buried deep in the deck. Might actually be a thing.
