It would be ironic in the extreme if the hypothesis of their extinction being caused by a nearby supernova turned out to be true. One of the largest radioactive explosions in the universe killing the sharks...whose skeletons would go on to become radioactive themselves later for other reasons!
Very low readings and depends on what particles it's radiating? Maybe don't use it as a spoon to eat from or something, but it's not going to mutate your DNA and give you cancer or anything lol. It's more or less just a cool warning sticker and it does warn so that people don't do stupid things just cause they think it's NOT radioactive? And due to it being a dinosaur shark tooth, it's one of those things you almost definitely think would NEVER be radioactive, so that's why the sticker SHOULD be on it. Plus it draws attention and makes a cool story and far out I'm questioning all kinds of stuff now? This big sharky tooth (Bruce Tooth) literally just broke my brain? I'm not going to sleep now that this it's tickling my conflict of interest brain in a big way! Dafuq is all I can say 😲
It’s certainly not healthy. But so long as they’re not touch the radio active items all the time they really shouldn’t be experiencing more radiation then say a pilot. At least that’s what I’ve heard.
@@mushious, You're right, it just has to Be SPUN into Uranium 239 to be dangerous, right ? WAIT, What about the Uranium Tailings from mining the Uranium from the earth, what do they do with it, I wonder
Do you have an americium source
I had no idea fossilized shark teeth could be radioactive. Thank you for sharing the tooth.
I have about 15 of these.

Uranium glass isn't really any more dangerous than regular glassware, it just looks neat.
