the way you talk about your hobbies and the things you love is so inspiring. i really want to get back into reading/doing the things that make my heart sing
Happy to see you back! My current obsessions are: Video Games -Cult of the Lamb (co-op) -Dome Keeper Shows -Delicious Dungeon Books -What Moves the Dead
I saw a magical girl retires in Waterstones and had to buy it. I enjoyed it and was shocked I hadn’t seen (anyone??) talk about it. I thought the concept was really interesting and different. And the cover is beautiful!!
Love this ''catching up'' video it's been such a long time... Always love to talk about my obsessions. I've been hyperfixating over 'Dead boy detectives' for months now. It's so good and totaly worth the hype, I'm talking queer dead boys, supernatual cases and found family!
so excited for you to (eventually) get into robin hobb! i've only ready one and a half of her books but she's already one of my very favourite authors and assassins apprentice is my favourite fantasy book so far :)
I was obsessed with the Spin of Fate by A.A. Vora and The Last Phi Hunter by Salinee Goldenberg recently. The former is anime-inspired YA that's dark fantasy with an interesting power system and class dynamics and fun character banter, and the second is a Thai-inspired monster hunter adventure with a romantic subplot intertwined with the main plot. Lots of action for both. Also, I have A Magical Girl Retires and Blood Over Bright Haven in my TBR. Will try and get them. And I love The Spear Cuts Through Water. It reminded me of Filipino epics.
current obessions: the stormlight archive (SO excited for you to get into brandon sanderson), marine biology, haikyuu!!, playing it takes two with my boyfriend 💖
nice to see a new video from you! I am so jealous of how many book stores you got to visit in New York. my current obsessions are playing the video game NEO The World Ends with You and lately I have been getting into collecting sprayed edge books. I would be open to peoples suggestions for any books to add to my collection. My current collection has 8 books, Sing me to sleep, a bitter bloom, the spice road, Impossible creatures, what the river knows, monster born and made, the phoenix keeper and Song of Silver, Flame like Night. I am hoping to at some point add Fathomfolk, Queen Among the Dead, Darker by Four, The Spellshop, and Sanctuary of the Shadow to my collection.
Hi, I have a Kindle unlimited book rec, it's called the Hitman's guide to making friends and finding love by Alice Winters, it is the first book in the series and it is one of my favorite funny books.
The Falcon and the Foe was just okay for me. My favorite M/M romance series on KU is the Park Avenue Princes series. It is the best thing ever I cannot stop screaming about it please read it thank you 😊
“what’s life without a little delusion?” so real of you
