I will be confirmed into the Catholic Church on June 11th, Corpus Christi, and I've been discerning who my patron saint should be. I asked a friend of mine who is Catholic if she had any suggestions. She told me based on my fighting spirit that St. Joan was a great fit for me. I only really knew the very general details of her story and felt that maybe she was just a little too mainstream for me 😅 so I've been torn between her and St. Monica as I too have loved a not so great man and prayed for his deliverance. Still, with St. Joan being on my mind right when this video came out and I guess when her feast day occurs feels pretty serendipitous. This definitely has me leaning more towards St. Joan at this war like time in my life. Pray for us, St. Joan.

My favourite childhood saint. Ste Jehanne priez pour nous. She is the perfect warrior saint for tlm Catholics to give us courage when faced with the implacable cruelty of so many corrupt Churchmen.

Every time I listen to this awesome priest, he paints a picture with his words so eloquently, blessings to him. As for Saint Joan of Arc, she is an amazing Saint and we should pray to her for courage in these difficult times, to always adore and praise Our Lord Jesus. 🙏

St. Joan of Arc was a remarkable woman & I have often thought that the political and personal strife that Charles VII went through in his final years were a result of him betraying St. Joan. He died a very painful and gruesome death.
May we all learn from St. Joan, hear our calling and move forward boldly 💚🙏🏼

St Joan of arc pray for me, my husband, and my children
She is my confirmation saint. When I chose her, I just kind of thought a woman soldier saint sounded cool, not putting much thought into it. It was not until recently I heard Bishop Barron say: "we think we are choosing a confirmation saint, when in reality they choose us!" I have also known many people who are living the same occupations as their confirmation saints, so I hope and pray through God's grace, he will equip me for battle in this modern world as he did St. Joan. I am someone who many people consider to be soft and easily pushed around. I need to move forward boldly as Joan did. St. Joan of Arc, Ora Pro Nobis!
Saint Mary Magdalene chose me and then she introduced me immediately to her spiritual sister, Saint Joan of Arc. Both are patron saints of the Knights of the Temple of Solomon (Knights Templar). "WHO IS SHE that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?" (Song of Solomon). "The story of Joan of Arc is both too beautiful and too terrible to ignore." (renowned French Historian, Regine Pernoud).
I could listen to you talk about her for a lot longer.

June 1 is thefeast day for St. Joan of Arc- should read quotes by and about her- Mark Twain believed she was the greatest, purest, moral, prayerful and Godly Human being ever born..and wrote alot about her.
Saint Joan of Arc died on or about the Feast of Pentecost for a reason.

War horses are just massive horses impeccably trained in dressage technique. If you are a dressage rider with talent they are the easiest horses to control. Equestrian here.

As far as Heaven is above of the Earth, so God's ways are above ours. However, why did God allow Joan to be murdered? Imagine if Joan had led a combined French-English Army into the Holy Land to liberate Jerusalem from the Jihadists. What a different world we'd have today.
