Most of our incubated eggs didn't hatch. Still waiting for baby goats to be born. #home #homestead #Kentucky #country #farming #dog #goat #chicken #garden #funny
Hi Our Kentucky home 👋love visiting the critters with you. Prayers 🙏 for Heidi, it takes longer than I thought for a goat gestation. Gonna be so dang precious 💕 I am sorry about the chicks 🐣
Hi sweet JoDee 🥰 It's 150 days gestation for goats. Since I don't have any dates to go by, we'll just all be surprised together. 😂 I'm so excited to see it/them! They're so tiny 🤭
Hi Sandra!👋 Thank you so much. We're so glad you found us! I'm anxious to identify breeds of all our brown egg layers pullets. Hopefully when they get a little bigger, we can tell what they are. 😁
My name's Allen, I'm a subscriber to your channel I have a channel half acre Homestead outdoors. I raise baby chicks every year. I got 3 nutrite 360s i have better luck dry hatching. The first 18 days and then I put the water in the last 3 days I leave the vent halfway open
Hi Allen! Thank you for subscribing and watching. That is good to know. We might just try that next time we incubate. Too late for this batch of course. But I'm hoping this batch will do better than the first. Thank you for sharing that info! We'll check out your channel!😊 God bless❤️
I am so sorry for losing the chicks. Maybe the humidity reader is not reading accurate and actually lower than reads. I am glad you are raising it up for this next batch. Praying for success
Good morning from Madisonville Kentucky have a wonderful day ❤
Good morning neighbor. We are about 3 hours east of Madisonville. Near lake Cumberland. Have a great day.
The two chicks you hatched are so cute. Those others have grown so much!! They sure grow fast!
Aren't they adorable?! Little round puff balls. 🤗 They have grown so fast!❤️
Sorry for the loss yuvonca. You'll figure it out. 🤠
Thank you! I'm trying! 😊

Same, very excited something to look forward too 🙏
I just came across your channel, ya all doing a great job. That one chick, looks like my Sapphire chicken, lays extra large eggs.

Thank you. That's what we're wondering, if they just aren't real accurate. Hoping it'll help to keep the humidity higher. 🤞
That is disappointing I know. We have had problems in the past also. So sorry.
Thank you. It is disappointing. But that's just part of raising animals I suppose. I don't like that part though. Lol Thank you for watching!❤️
I saw someone say they mist the eggs when they see them pip❤
That's probably a good idea!
@@ourkentuckyhome771 I bet your idea of increasing the humidity will work just as good
@@pamelavargas6811 I'm hoping so🤞
