What if power grid goes out
I'M A LIVING EXAMPLE of why everyone should have a large food storage. 10 months ago a foreign entity laid fraudulent claim to my business brand. I'm self employed and sell online. The on line platforms froze my ability to sell my products and I've been living off my savings while waiting for this to be resolved. I'm debt free and had 2+ years of food stored, a garden and chickens. It's a strain just to purchase the dairy products that I can't produce. I never saw this coming. But I'm making it with God's grace and because I listened when He urged me to have 2 years of food put up.

I have a cubit foot freezer. I unexpectedly broke my wrist. Then I was (mandated) vacc1ne injured nurse and was out on unpaid FMLA. Twice. My stocking up on canned goods and full freezer saved my butt.
That happened to a friend's online shop as well! So glad you have your food storage abd are debt free! I hope they resolve it quickly

My husband didn't take me seriously he had a layoff. My prepping made it so much easier knowing we only had to buy milk and fresh produce to fill in the gaps. Making raspberry jam today, with fresh berries from the yard. Great gifts to share with friends and family.
I have 5 years stored. I got sick last year. I had to take a leave of absence for 6 mo. I have 2 adult disabled children. Without that food...idk what we would have done. Savings paid the monthly bills. Always prepare. There could be a storm, anything. My children ate rice wth canned food for 6 mo. We have no family. They are all dead.

Joseph stored up grains for 7 years, due to the kings dream of a famine coming. There's many Christians who have felt in their Sprit to store up, become homesteaders, and prep. So, that tells me, He is trying to get His people ready for some seriously bad things coming. When I found out the things that were going to happen, in 2016, I knew that I needed to come in from trucking and start homesteading. However, I wasn't able to come in from the road until 2019, but I'm so thankful now that He gave me that warning.

As a Christian, I've heard other Christians say to " just trust God, He promises to feed us" .True, however he doesn't want us to be stupid either and just be idle twiddling our thumbs. He gives us warnings of things to come so we can prepare physically and spiritually....HE gives us the ability and the resources to prepare, just as He warned Noah, Joseph and many others.
We can see what's coming and if we don't prepare, we are just plain stupid

NEVER apologize for saying what God put in your heart! When I was a teen, I was helping my dad with reroofing. While I was on top of the house I screamed “God is my savior! Praise God!”. I actually didn’t think anyone noticed, but the next day at school a friend of mine told me EXACTLY what I had said (he lived a half a mile from us). He told me years later that he was actually in fact “Going down into the woods to kill his self.” God does work in mysterious ways.
You can always cut the mold off of the cheese and still eat it. Grandpa would not eat the cheese unless some mold had grown on it.

As a 72 year old, I learned at a very young age that bad things happen. My Mom raised and canned most of our food. When I was 9, my father was seriously burned in an oil well fire. My Mom didn't work, and we survived on what she had put up the year before and what was given to us by friends and family. When I married I became like Mom and always prepared for possible hard times. I have had numerous times needed those stores during health issues plus loss of income. During covid we didn't worry much because I was stocked with enough to see us through until next garden season. Recently, my husband developed cancer and myself was recently handicapped and unable to garden this year. We are doing well because of the excess I had stored. My Mom taught me to can any excess from a crop because next year that crop could fail. Because I did that, we should be good until we are back on our feet and able to grow again. We were also blessed to have a friend who gave us enough venison to last until next season. So I tell you, when God speaks to you, listen! He's got our backs!
You were raised by a very smart mother just as I was . I will differ with one thing you wrote saying “ my mom didn’t work “. I feel she worked very hard. Being a stay at home mom is the hardest job ever. I’m a 72 yr old retired nurse who chose to stay at home & raise our 5 children. I only went back to work after they were in high school . I will never regret it . They all have told me many times that they were thankful that I was there for them . Linda

We also have life straws and tablets for treating water.

I am not a homesteader, at this time that is not possible for me. However over the last year I have begun to purchase in bulk from local farmers and azure. I am putting up food and cooking from scratch not out of fear but as a good steward of the resources God has given me. I became convicted of my poor health and the amount of food we wasted. I have radically changed my diet, eating real food and purchasing ingredients in bulk instead of processed meals. You are on target with everything you said. It is being a good Stewart of the resources God has provided us.

I hope we have some vacant lots in the cities suddenly be occupied by gardens and chickens. Every family needs three laying hens- I know that sounds extreme but all things are possible.

Noah was prepared. Joseph was prepared. I belive we need to prepare. I dont have alot of income to prepare. I am trying a little at a time. I am a mom and a grandma and that means they look to me for food. In good times & bad. As a mom and grandma I am always looking ahead at the next season for clothes for the family.

Fire starting ,rope tying , sewing repairs, , keep all your empty spray bottles , jars , and bottles. Even just storing water in empty bottles. I went through floods and after those the cockroaches mice rats spiders and snakes that came to my home was like something from the Amityville horror, so remember to prep up on pest control. Bug bombs fly spray flea bombs mouse traps rat traps moth traps ant killer Roach killer. Mozzies repellant.ant sand, as things go on sale I try to stock up.
Im 74 years old and it brings such a warm feeling to my heart to know that there's young people who feels what GOD is saying for them to do and do what He has told them to do. Me and my oldest granddaughter age 37 have been preparing and trying to get the rest of the family to see what is happening . New here. Screw the normies who think prepping is doomsday. I've never known anyone to at least have not lost a job or a family member who helped out so much. Prepping is wise, and only the foolish think otherwise. Plus, it's Biblical for those who care about that fact as well.

I don’t look at preparedness as dooms day, but as good stewardship for my family and if I do not do that, I’m not doing my God given calling with my family.
The year before Covid I felt prompted to learn how to garden & preserve it. I was in my early 60’s!! My little garden was only 2 4x8 raised beds in my suburban back yard, but it was a starting place. Then I started by trying to have 3 months supply of the things we use every day in my pantry, & organized it so it could be rotated. And even though we are seniors 2 years ago we moved to the country and now have 15 chickens & a garden that feeds 2 families. Don’t be afraid of sharing this message….Especially if you are prompted to do so.

Good job with this video! I am in my 50's and keeping a well stocked pantry is something we used to be taught. A good look at history throughout our own lives and in past generations will prove how important your message is today. My family always said "Family first, then we lend a hand to neighbors and then we widen our support into our local community, etc." (Stay the course in your own home so you can help others as needed, a ripple effect like a raindrop on water.)

The government would love nothing more than for us to be dependent on them! If 2020 taught us anything it’s to be self sufficient as much as possible. There are plenty of reasons to be prepared including job loss, inflation & helping others in need. I agree with you 100%.
My municipal government came through here a few weeks ago and bulldozed down the community garden I had built for my neighbors. It was built on a vacant city owned lot that has been sitting neglected for over 25 years. We had 14 rainwater tanks (guttering ran from a neighbors shed so didn't have to build any structures). All the beds were raised, made with wattling, so no digging necessary.
None of my neighbors came out to stand up for the garden and I've had zero support through all of this. Actually I've been threatened, harassed, fined and arrested. This has been an ongoing drama for the last 2 years. I'm giving the cliff notes version of course but to give an idea of what's happening in the world. Oh, I'm in Oklahoma, in a suburb of Tulsa.
We've actually decided to get out of town and have started building a small cabin on my partners parents property. My neighbors are going to regret being so cowardly. Actually I think they already do.

First step in protecting yourself is to delete all social media. If you are a target and you are on Facebook, EVERYTHING will be used against you in a court of law. Everything you comment on or post will be taken completely out of context and the same people you fed out of that garden will be in the jury box plotting against you.
Venting online will build a case against you.

What a sweet spirit you have! I’m 68, lived country all my life and a Believer. God pushed you out of your comfort zone as a test on “will you do what he asks even when it doesn’t feel good”?! You passed young lady! Just a word, never think that what the spirit is moving you to do for your family, that he’s not also moving all Believers to do. I have always had a working pantry and never fret about not having enough to eat but before covid hit I was led to put up baby food, and certain children’s foods and I did. When it hit and the shortages started my daughter in law told me what she was running low on and couldn’t get and it was exactly the spirit had led me to stock! We were all relieved we were prepared to care for all our grand babies. We all just need to pray for guidance, wisdom and ears to hear what he says, then do it. Always remember those jitters you had were not from God they were from the adversary and he’s poking all of us we just need to push past him like you did. We can do all things through him that strengths us! Blessed are the faithful!❤

I felt lead to prepare about 2 years ago. A very urgent feeling. That feeling wasnt like me and i feel like it was the Holy Spirit.
I can usually tell when it’s the Holy Spirit because the thought comes outside of myself. That’s when I try to listen.

I am 69 and I have always cooked from scratch. My cooking is better than most restaurants. I never eat fast food. I don't enjoy eating out. I keep on prepping...And I don't have a microwave oven.
God has put all of your warnings (intentional food shortages, election civil war, the next sickness) on my households mind as well. My husband works in global resources and has been shouting these warnings for years and it seems like everyone is determined to have their eyes shut. So thank you for your bravery in sharing Gods warning, it sure helps me not feel so alone.

I am not a homesteaders, but I have been following the issue with our broken food system. I have been having internal pressure, uneasiness, anxious all the time with a driving force to make sure I have everything I need in an emergency. Came across your video. I live in Portland , Oregon. My husband each year got a letter laying out the importance of preparedness for his family. As a police officer he would be called away in natural disasters or emergencies and his family having to bear through it on their own. We never did prepare and fortunately never needed to. I know now and with much prayer I have been preparing. We live in the cascadia fault zone and a major earthquake is just a matter of time. Proverbs 30: 25 says the ant prepares for winter. Thanks for your thoughtful wisdom and encouragement. My husband's retired and we're ready but none of our family has.
I don’t understand why people wouldn’t want to know what’s going on. It seems so obvious to me. Here in MN I haven’t heard that there’s a trend back to pre Covid ways. I thought the Homesteading movement is still growing fast. But I myself have started going through my stores and not replenishing them. So I see what you mean. Your discernment is spot on, honey! God told me twice (2020 & 2021) to prepare because there is a “storm” coming. When I asked about the storm, He showed me all the things you mentioned and more. There are many facets to it. God is showing you as well and we absolutely have to prepare.

It is always good to be prepared. Ibhad to have surgery, and missed 6 weeks of work. Short term disability allowed me to pay my rent, but thankfully, I did not need to buy food for me or my dogs. Not only was there not extra money to buy, but I was also unable to drive. Of course, I had friends who would have taken me to the store, and would not have let me go hungry, I did not have to rely on others for basic needs. Telling people to be prepared for umexpected hiccups is not fear mongering, but common sense.
I think you are spot on! I believe something big is coming right around the corner! Prepare prepare prepare! Also consider what you would do if they turned out the power for a few months or more.
Or, with the way this country is headed and the powers that be, I've considered Martial Law being called. I pray not, but as someone else mentioned, God warns is, as He did Noah, etc. We are to trust Him to provide for us, and this is one way.

I'm a Christian and I absolutely appreciate that you take the time out of your extremely busy schedule to do this video. I want to say that there are way too many people in this world and when I say too many people I'm speaking mostly to the Christians here..... they have this concept that God is going to take care of them and they do not need to do absolutely anything on their end. You know in the Bible it says that a man that does not tend to his own house is worse than an infidel. It is the responsibility of the man to take care of the woman and the responsibility of the woman to take care of her husband and their children and the house. Some people think that a prepper is a doom Gloom, end of the world, conspiracy theorists, tinfoil hat wearing, loon... when in fact everyone should be prepared for whatever may come their way, may it be weather related, man-made related you cannot prepare for every scenario out there but you can prepare your home the best you can and this is done year round. We do not have a homestead we have a little tiny house with a even tinier yard in an HOA neighborhood as I shake my head lol.... I take care of my mother. you better believe as a Christian we prepare for whatever may come our way not only for this household but for family , friends and even neighbors if need be. Now to those individuals that say oh you're just doom and Gloom and they unsubscribe, all I have to say to them is, go ahead and unsubscribe. They walk around in this Wicked Lawless world of ours while walking around with blinders on. They refuse to see what actually is occurring all around them. They are refusing to see and hear what is going on even in the midst of where they walk. That's putting themselves and their families in a pickle.
Yes God is going to take care of his children but he is definitely not going to do you are going to have to get up and go do 99% of it yourself . You can take wisdom from Joseph and be prepared while also trusting the Lord will provide. I can’t possible be 100% prepared. I will certainly still be relying on provision and protection from God. That doesn’t mean I’m going to sit back and do nothing. I agree I think some people lean too much on the “God provides” scripture.
I came from a large family, we raised chickens, butchered and froze them, planted a lot of potatoes, onions, carrots, picked berries, canned, hunted wild game and prepared it by drying into jerky. We stored fire wood, coal when it was legal. I grew up storing food. I raised 10 kids and we never went hungry even though we went through some hard times. I'm old now and I have new appliances that makes storing food so much easier, I now freeze dry, dehydrate, pressure can, water bath can and I still garden. I have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to share with. It is smart to store food, water and other necessities. Covid taught us that. Have a nice day🙏🏽💖👍🏽

It's all intentional and we are intentional with following our Lord.I appreciate your message..I've had to eat prepping food due to rotation, mostly the canned foods. But all my prepping is good...I have lots to flour for easy biscuits. One item to stock up for me is powder milk...and decaf ground coffee..I have plenty of canned meats and sardines but I don't need to rotate them yet...maple syrup is nutritional good to store. Extra bibles.
Girl I am a Christian Woman as well. And, yes the Holy Spirit has quickened my Spirit as well. I live in Washington State and we as see some shortages but more than that I can't afford to buy the store bought item's that I can grow myself. Wise girl! We are too! I don’t have a homestead but I do get farm shares from a local farm and preserve as much as possible. We buy our meat from friends and a friends family member.
Be aware, be prepared. I have family and friends affected by the hurricane in TX. My friend was listening to God and had a bunch of water stored and canned several things and was stocking up her pantry. She’s so grateful because it’s been 5 days no electricity! So even if it’s not political it could be environmental so always always be prepared.
My husband and I are huge supporters of our local farmers and small businesses , keep doing what you are doing,the Bible talks about the Apocalypse that will come and tell you to prepare .
I was about to have my second born and already planned to do a big grocery haul right before I had her. Got everything I needed to last a month maybe two because I didn't wanna do grocery shopping with a newborn and a toddler.
A week before I gave birth we started to distance ourselves in public. Then a week after was the shutdown. I'm glad I decided to do that big grocery haul and postpartum items, diapers before I needed them because I couldn't get them after.. And now I do it every month now. One huge trip is better then multiple trips especially with kids in tow.
The Lord told me to prepare in 2014 then again summer of 2019. The Lord has lately put it on my heart to get our house in order. We have preps but I am feeling a heavy call to get our house in order in other ways and lean into our home.
You are in the perfect season of life to have this plan! When I was married in 2001, we did the same. 22+ years and 5 children later, keeping a "back stock" of food has become second nature. There have been times when we had to use the surplus... Lost job, accident recovery, even higher prices have made us dip into them.
We are not in a place financially right now to add as much as I would like, and storage space seriously becomes an issue when you have a big family. The Lord has put on my heart to learn about edible plants He has already provided, growing wild on our property. You know, those pesky herbs we call "weeds"! 😉 And many trees, vines, and shrubs have edible parts, as well.

We prepared for years...basically because we live in a very hurricane prevalent area. We had chickens and ducks because we liked knowing where our food came from, and we gardened for the same reason. One day in 2013 I literally HEARD Him tell me to start preparing. I questioned it for a bit and a few days later ran into a lady at the thrift shop...as we got to talking she first said "God is going to heal him"...My husband is a Veteran, and was in lock down again for his ptsd...she did not know that. we chatted a bit more and she said "you listen to what He tells you to do" and walked away...I walked the other direction and looked for her...she was GONE..literally gone. As I was driving home husband called and said he was ready to leave to lock down (a unit for Veterans in danger of taking their own life)... He has never had an issue since...He has been on board..maybe even more so. I think what people ldont understand is that people who ARE prepared are NOT fearful. We are far from wealthy, but God has provided so many ways for us to prepare, a few weeks ago a lovely young lady who buys duck eggs from us was wandering the garden area and asked what we do with so much...i pointed out what we can not use or feed animals..we donate some and I dehydrate the rest. She asked if we wanted another dehydrator...a 9 tray excalibur, never used. She would not tae money for it..just jerky when ever husband makes it. A week later she stopped by for more eggs, and I am not even sure how it came up...but she was talking about her parents being Jewish and still loving her..even though she was a born again believer. We hugged...God put her in our lives and us in hers.. Not being prepared is bad judgement..you never know a job loss, a flood, hurricane you name it. Yes, God provides, He does not fly over nests and drop bugs into the sparrows nests, He is providing it for them now.

Very wise message. I have learned to prep years ago. You never know what is coming. I used to live in California You never know when an earthquake or other disaster is coming, we were taught you could be on your own for days to weeks after an event. Growing and preserving your food is only wise. Manufacturers keep adding nasty stuff to our food, you have to read the label every time you buy. 3 years ago I started my pantry hall and my medical supplies and personal supplies. I got anything from pasta to canned goods to canned meat to canned tuna And everything in between I got staple milk coffee to hamburger chicken to pork And peanut butter of all kinds jams jellies for my pantry Hull that took over 3 years to do. I paid off my debt of $861 phone bills the phone itself outright and my monthly phone bill and my internet bill. I paid that month February 8th 2024. I paid it off and I've been getting stuff here and there to add to my pantry hall. I got a lot of the canned good meat and everything else. I told you when the price was down a dollar or left on most of the items that I bought and I have beans and rice of all kinds.

I'm old school Californian not the typical one. We had a great rainy season this year. Although they have put us in a year around drought no matter if we have a lot of rain. I feel for the farmers. Gas, water, electricity, food, taxes all going up. They are going to have water restrictions and black outs. COVID did change me because I'm waiting for the other foot to drop. I'm not a Christian but I do believe in God. And I've been feeling very anxious inside. You should have the right to speak. Thanks for that Bible quote......it made me feel better.

Hi Jaylea, I’m from the Netherlands. You are so right about the food shortage coming up. All over the world they are “harassing” farmers so they are forced to produce less food. Here not only in the Netherlands, but in their whole of Europe. The newspaper had a stupid article warning against home gardening being a threat to our health. So yes it is necessary to start preparing. But maybe use stocking up in stead of preparing if people take offence. God bless.
Here in the USA I've seen articles about how it's more environmentally friendly to buy food at the store than to grow/raise it on your own. Such silly messages, but some people listen to them.

I read an article about why the chickens were confiscated.
Unfortunately they were being kept in inhumane conditions .
The local SPCA was called to the location for an animal welfare check and came across 117 chickens crammed into 2 pens in a garage along with several other animals.

Nailed it Jaylea! 2020 brought me down rabbit hole of seeking truth and at the time, feeling a bit fearful. When we turn to scripture and see that Yah has already laid all this out in words for us to be prepared, we can rest easy. There will be wars and rumors of wars, but to get caught up in fear is a dangerous road that will distract us from our focus. We have been given hands and feet and the knowledge (or ability to seek the knowledge) on how to grow and raise our own food. Good old homesteading skills are incredibly important for us to learn. I've stopped watching fear mongering channels because it distracts my mind from The Most High. We can only 'control' so much and learning these skills is key. Good for you for speaking truth and laying it out. 🙌😘

My grandmother told me years ago to just take care of you and yours. By mine, that is my sons and grandchildren. Their families. My friends and neighbors their families. Even if only in prayer, I take care of them. Preparing is an area we had let go of because of business. The job, the kids, etc. Now many are preparing. It's n insurance. Because to many don't have back ups just in case of an illness, job loss, rise in food costs. Social unrest. We are seeing that now. Jesus is the only way to calm your heart. If you have a need, Jesus will provide for you. You are way ahead of many right now. You will teach others to secure the insurance they may need, and help them to be calm in the name of Jesus Christ.
