If you listen to the pop-pop-pop-pop sound it is about five to a second, therefore it is operating correctly. A generator built to run at very low speed is intended for very long and reliable running. Most small cheap generators are 3000rpm or faster, which delivers a lot of power for a small size but they are not capable of running non-stop for weeks on end like this Lister can.
@@zanothandonjoli5859 go for 15hp because you can put 25% load more load on it plus idel load capacity will be same so except High load it will be more in 15 hp so go for it ,plus fuel consumption will also be same except at max
