I have an Apple TV connected to my TV, if I have these connected to the TV, would the Apple Remote adjust the volume on them? I ask because my Apple Remote works on the old first SONOS play bar, but cannot find out if it would work on these. Thanks
I have yu6s and tuks. I think I know what they mean: Both have some amount of "hiss"/white noise coming from the tweeter while powered on (independent of content played). While definitely noticeable in the nearfield (I use both pairs as desktop speakers) it's not a dealbreaker for me. This seems to be a common flaw with powered speakers.
Might sound like a silly question, if I want the best audio (mainly listening to FLAC format), do you recommend using Optical out or headphone jack? If the difference is negligible, which situations would it become more apparent?
@@therealshanelee I used my audioengine A2s as pc speakers for years with only the 3.5 aux in. The usb connection option on newer speakers represent a built in dac. Either way.. good for pc use.
I know this video is a year old and this is a great speaker but, look at the Adam T5Vs if you want a speaker with REALLY detailed highs and responsive bass. The one downside is these doesn't have a remote. They work for both couch listening or near field. So if you are fine with dropping some of the features in this speaker the T5Vs sound abundantly better.
Received the YU6s today. On my pair, the bass EQ goes up 3 notches and goes down 7 notches, before bottoming out. Checked the treble EQ, it goes up 6 notches and goes down 4 notches :/ You said on yours the bass goes up and down 5 notches, right?
This is the best review about these speakers on TH-cam. Thank you !!!
Just got these in 2022: I love them.
the fact that they provide 2 optical inputs attracts me a lot :)

How do these compare to the Klipsch R-41PM and R-51PM speakers? I have the R-41PM but the bass is not enough without a sub.
R41 can’t be played alone w/o a sub. Even R51 needs a sub to complete the setup.
yeah, but how do they compare to the SL-5's? Or are they SL-3s?
LOL! "Huge growth..." I'll be demoing some new Kanto speakers at The Show in Long Beach. Can't wait!
Boom! TD in the house. Yeah these are really good sounding.
@@therealshanelee I wonder how these perform for DJ's in a home studio.
@@godfather1116 that's definitely a Technodad question since he's a DJ.
Some people claim they have noise interference, resulting in a small hearing buzz even when nothing is playing. What's your experience with this?

Hey bro these Kanto stands fit the YU6? I thought it was just for the YU4?

Optical. Less chance of getting any kind of interference.
been waiting for the Kanto Tuk...any idea when it'll be available?
I'll have to ask about that one.
@@therealshanelee been super hyped up about it since I saw this video

be nice to review the sub8 as there is no good reviews out there
Can't speak for country but death metal sounds great with these.
Will you review HDR video games dolby vision on xbox etc?
No I don't game.
These look like my first pair of monitors I bought, M AUDIO BX5s D2... Cool
You said no pc input. Isn't that 3.5mm aux port for that?
Some higher end models have a USB in for digital playback from a PC. 3.5mm is a standard universal in.

can kanto yu6 connect with other brand subwoofer like klipsch svs yamaha monolith?
Yes

Hmm I'll have to check again.
If you do not have the room for a real system ,this is for you . If you have room there a lot of better speakers that are cheaper .
Can you give me a few sugestion please because im new to this kind of speakers.. Thanks
