    Thanks for your video. I’ve owned my 2023 MYLR for 2 months and making my 1st road trip this weekend from Az to CA. I was a little nervous about range before watching your video, but I’m not anymore.

    Greetings from Ukraine! Thanks for your videos! Today my Tesla Model 3 2021 LR white/white 1,800 miles has finally arrived with minimal damage from the USA and I look forward to the day when, after repairs, I can enjoy the ride after 4 months of waiting. Good luck to you and your family!

    Silver handle band is usually a 150kw V2. All black handles are usually a 250Kw V3. 🤙

    If you set the charge to 80% and watch the percentage to destination you can figure the optimal speed to travel and not lose range. Time wasted to charge over 80% and reduced regen doesn't seem to be worth it. I love how Tesla changes the whole driving experience.

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the tips! We had to stay longer anyways so that’s why I didn’t mind slow charging after 80%. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents. 👍😃

    Great road trip video. Any phantom braking so far?

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Imran H It only happened once while I was driving about 70 mph and engaged autopilot with a big truck was driving on the next lane. It braked right after autopilot was activated. Otherwise, autopilot was very reliable for the whole trip. Thank you for watching! Please subscribe for future contents : )

    when you are being charged by Tesla in PAY per minute basis, you should just charge it for 25 minutes at your first stop then move on to the second location to charge again. That's the only reason I'm travelling with a 5 years old MXP100D with free supercharging to charge up for free even if the top charging rate is limited to 150KW

    • @dadstoyscars
      @dadstoyscars  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree. Thank you for the tips.
      We were all needed to stay a little longer for dinner so just left it to charge longer so we didn't have to rush our dinner.
      The most efficient and fastest way would be between 15% - 80% then continue the trip.
      Thank you for watching and your great support Nicky! :)
