Allow me to introduce the Chains of Blackmaw
This is another great, free adventure which will
work perfectly in Ptolus, or pretty much any urban setting.
Chains of Blackmaw was originally published by Paizo, in Dungeon Magazine Issue 135 as an adventure to take characters through levels 6 to 12. I have transcribed it from those poor quality PDFs and put it on my d20.pub website. Obviously there is a link below.
One of the coolest things about this adventure is it will put your PCs in a position they likely have never been in before - unless they have played Out of the Abyss - being deprived of their weapons, and gear while locked in a prison.
The premise is that a man - Karl Manderholm - was framed by the Covenant of the Knife and thrown in the notorious Blackmaw Prison. He awaits his execution at the hands of the deadly assassins' guild. In order to save him, the PCs must enter Blackmaw in the guise of lowly prisoners and expose the one man who can clear Karl’s name, the Shadowmaster of the Covenant himself.
The Covenant of the Knife could be changed to any criminal organization in your game, or you can introduce them as a new one. They would work perfectly as a new group in Ptolus, they could be folded into the Balacazar crime syndicate easily, or they could be the Vai Assasins.
Karl Manderholm could easily be changed to a member of a Noble House or some other important person; whatever fits your campaign best.
Whatever the case, this is a great mid-tier adventure that would work great for Ptolus or any game. It was written for D&D 3.5 and as of the time I made this video, no 5th edition conversion has been released. If there is enough interest, I could potentially do that myself for you. Let me know in the comments down below!
Make sure you like and subscribe, click the Tolling Bell so you know when the cultists have released a new video - wait ... I think I just called myself a cultist - uh... no matter!
I've got a patreon if you're interested. I'm not releasing any exclusive content yet, it will just make you an amazing person and I'm pretty sure you'll roll more 20's if you back me.
We've also got a Ptolus specific discord channel that's got almost 300 people constantly talking about the City by the Spire. There are some awesome Narrators on the discord all hours of the day sharing ideas and bouncing concepts off each other.
Checkout the Chains of Blackmaw, as well as my other vidoes talking about the Shackled City adventure path which I'm using for the Ugly Inc. game.
Until next time, stay out of the shadow of the spire!

That's what I like to hear! Haha. I'm working on videos for the Savage Tide adventure path from dungeon too. The first 3 modules are absolutely epic and will work amazing in Ptolus

I have barely played 5E so perhaps someone would be willing to do the conversion? :D If not, I might be able to figure it out.
