Yes! On a regular basis I rotate daily between the underworld and surface, just wanted to try all the new duo synergies with the new patch which works much better in the underworld.
Hey Bloated, do you think a video overexplaining how you dodge/mitigate damage would be viable, or is it mostly a pure skill thing? It's the thing that's most preventing me from beating higher heats right now
I Don’t think I could make a full video out of it but thank you for the suggestion! dodging is mainly just about reacting and being familiar with the animations/patterns of each enemy which comes with time and practice. Besides that I would say do not forget to stagger enemy’s before they attack when u can to reduce the amount of attacks you have to dodge, utilize your sprint as much as you can and make sure you are always dropping your cast against whatever you are fighting to root/slow them
@@Boat3d Thanks for the suggestions! I think the devil is in the details. There are a few things I notice when I watch you or other good players: - The direction you dash in. I sometimes pick the wrong direction to dash to, which is punishing when there are more enemies. It really adds up over time. - When to sprint away and reset your map position. I don't have a sense of this at all. I feel pressured to do damage as quickly as possible, but I notice good players are good at picking moments to regroup - Where to place a cast. Again, this is more punishing the more enemies I face in a room. There are probably many other things, and good players probably do them naturally. I don't have the best reaction time, so I've been trying to break down other high heat players' micro decision making
@@exometria Yeah these are all great points, I usually try to dash through an enemy to take their backside or just dash into open space, I run away whenever I feel the need and I just mash my cast. I dont think about this stuff when Im playing though, I just turn my brain off and play or when recording im mainly focused on trying to cohesively yap for youtube
Damn ! That's a SHOCKING build, for sure ! This game truly is full of possibilities already. Incredible to think it's only the EA !
yeah its wild, better than a lot of full release titles in recent years
So hard to get good surface runs, so i was surprised (shocked, even) to see your build done before Thessaly.
@@UnBR0k3enAngel truly shocking, Hermes’ had my back on this one
