    am wondering am going to be buying a Ace X Demon here in Australia, (similar to the Aerial Rider Grizzly) if the same setup here could be done on that bike as well?

      Hi, thanks for watching! You would have to check your local region laws regarding legality. The AR Grizzly has dual 1000w motors, it can be ridden in class 2/3 modes, but I'm not familiar with how Australia governs ebikes. • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, not exactly sure what you mean. If you use 48v switches and lights, then there is no need for a DC-DC stepdown. 12v lights and switches are super common and have a wide variety of choices, that is why most folks would prefer to install a DC-DC stepdown, or run a separate external 12v battery.

    I've pretty much ordered everything you listed on hopes for a same/similar setup. I have the same light switch, relay, & led strips. With the DRL lights of the strip on, the flasher relay does nothing but constantly light. If the DRL isn't on, the flasher works as expected. Not sure what I'm doing different. Do you flashers/turn signals work if the DRL lights of the strips are on?

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  ปีที่แล้ว

      It should work if wired correctly (DRL and blinkers). If DRL is on, and say left blinker is enabled, then the left blinkers should flash amber, when the blinker is disabled, then it should return to DRL mode. You should double check that all connections are solid, and make sure you don't have any shorts (bare wires that are not supposed to be touching), and also make sure that ground/return connections are isolated. GL!

    The wire size guide says that I can run my entire system on the 18AWG wiring through the multiswitch I have with no relays except the flasher. Sorry, just didn't have time for that. If you look at the groupings that I placed in the description it shows you which wires to connect together. Not a diagram but if you match the colors/polarities it'll work.

    Do you need 2 flasher relays? 1 for each side?

    • @RunPlayBack
      @RunPlayBack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You just need one..it connects to the signal switch which activates the flash across all lights connected to left and right signal wires.

      The flasher relay is typically wired in-line to the positive wire before it goes into the blinker switch.
