Depends on the context. In Sales, you wanna downplay a lot so your prospect lowers their guard & opens up to you more. This is especially true when handling objections - in any part of the call.
Makes me feel icky. I'll stick with 'no problem' and let them choose on their own if they want to help me in the future. Otherwise, it's not genuine. And being genuine builds better relationships.
I think i get why it makes u feel icky but I would not want to do someone a favour if they are unwilling to reciprocate. Idt there is anything unethical with maximizing the odds that you don't get exploited
