Great looking monster truck. I've never used and rc with a drive belt very interesting setup. Doing a good job reviewing covered a lot of info on the truck. Keep it up.

If you move the ESC, can you actually use a dual motor setup in this?
There`s a space there, so I`m thinking, dual motors with higher kv for more powaaah! :D

Old thread, but... that is NOT a waterproof ESC! I had to replace mine with the Orion Vortex R8 WP ESC that IS waterproof (slight false advertising by Kyosho there...). Great truck though, and you may need to explore the axle and suspension arm upgrades (to full aluminium). Love it.

question? the battery compartments, can they hold something larger than 5000mah 2S?

+KMJ187 I'm not 100% sure mate, but ou can't run more than 4s anyway so shouldn't matter anyway

great truck, not the most durable. but if you bash it somewhat sensibly, it's a riot. You might want to open the shocks. and replace the internal nuts with locknuts. it's not fun when you blow a nut mid-run..lol so to speak. And if you look close, that belt drive is actually a CHAIN drive. awesome truck. it's nice to see it getting a little attention.

how long will this truck last on a charge? I was told by someone only ten minutes, if so that's not very good. would it last like 40 min on a 6000 mah battery, thinking on getting this one.

i run 6200mah in mine and i have never hit lvc. even after almost an hour. On half charged batteries I can get over 30 minutes. I thought my lvc function was broken on my esc until i tried running it from 50% charge.
