Video about how an old men's suitcase made of canvas with leather handles came to be restored. I gave it a second life, I hope you enjoy it.
Bag repair begins with dry cleaning. This is followed by the restoration of the lost shape of the bag. I glue the inside with a layer of leather. After I build up new leather in places of damage. I'm creating a texture. I select the color for the original and paint by hand. Leather handles must be degreased before painting. Fat from the skin is drawn out with a special paste.
