In G-8 condition I believe it showed the value as being $190- $210 I think I remember any 14d that's in good enough condition to see the date still is (below G-4) worth as much as what you paid for it back then. However coin values found in Books such as the "U.S. Blue Book for coins" 77th year in print aren't something I bank on. I'm always looking for the 1914D cent even though I own several, I watched the prices between November of 19 for a coin in V.G.-20 condition selling commonly in the $375- $475 range only to see the same condition coins selling for $125 - $200 less this month. Want real coin value ? Find a coin with the same grade as you'd like to own, then watch it and several others in eBay their actual selling prices. eBay is a much better place to purchase a coin than it was years ago BUT research the seller I'd love to see your Coin Troy, wish we could post pictures in TH-cam

I hunt pennies. It's my passion! I'm relatively new to the hobby....but....I chose pennies to hunt over other denominations PRIMARILY because it is an inexpensive hunt....with a HIGH UPSIDE! Yesterday I searched 2500 pennies ( my usual amount ) and ran across TWO 1968 and ONE 1963 die capped coins! All THREE appear to be in EXCELLENT condition! ( I won't know for sure til I have them professionally graded, however)...I'm STOKED!! Keep hunting brothers n sisters!!
I’m not sure but I might have some 1942 steel pennies? You have me anxious to look them all up. Wow you got my anxiety up. My mom and dad were from the depression era and my mom and dad saved them to me. I thought the 1942 copper was the most valuable. Forgive me I’m no expert. Thank you and tubulars.
I took it to a coin dealer he told me those aren't worth much .. he assume i was going to sell it to him .. I still have it in my collection.. I don't need the money. I want to give it to my kids when they get older they'll know what to do .. the pawn shop was in Portland Oregon
1943 steel cent's are worth between $5-$10 depending on how much zinc is still on the surface! If you have a 1943 copper penny or a 1944 steel penny, get it authenticated and graded because your life is gonna change if it's legit!

Sooo penny looking I will go.. He's gonna be a millionaire after All...n so is Mom😀

enjoyed the info it made me look in my coin books again . thanks
Big like 35K+! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video!
I sometimes find wheat pennies in my yard 😂
1944. Wheat back penny
@@rickypugh195 yep 😁
Lucky me I'm a coin collector I have a ton of 1944 wheat pennies with no mint mark
What’s a mint Mark? I have a couple of 1944 wheat pennies. And 1957
Enjoyed this video! I’m going to try to find one.
The oldest coins I have are an 1884 Indian Head penny and two 1944 Lincoln Wheat pennies.
Thanks for the info
I’m not sure but I might have some 1942 steel pennies? You have me anxious to look them all up. Wow you got my anxiety up. My mom and dad were from the depression era and my mom and dad saved them to me. I thought the 1942 copper was the most valuable. Forgive me I’m no expert. Thank you and tubulars.
Steel pennies are worth around 1 million or so so dollars.
I have one as well
I took it to a coin dealer he told me those aren't worth much .. he assume i was going to sell it to him ..
Update?
15:44 there are clones of this, don't get ripped off!
Great point! So many valuable coins are being cloned and duplicated these days!
clones? Is the is the word we are using now instead of counterfeit?
@@crisprtalk6963 An another opinion if you can’t think of the word counterfeit.
@@VarietyErrors The best way to ID a fake coin is it’s weight. Base metal is the main thing the fakers use.
