Good work guys
Thanks very much. Your videos are amazing these days. I watch them weekly.
Maxkil thanks man! I appreciate it
Rich looks like you gonna have to up ur game LOL... cut box and rusty ol saw is on your list!!
I watch both of you weekly LOL
BTW,you can have neater cutting finish if you make sure your saw blade only cutting from surface paper side. in other words, saw blade does not pull out the surface paper if you lift the saw little bit when you drag the saw-assuming the cornice surface is facing you.
Watch a few videos and you were the one to make it click and the only one that said the 'Bottom edge is the longest edge on internal cut" 👍👍👍 cheers
Great idea with the jigs, cheers
Iv'e used this video to do cornices and found it very helpful. Clear simple instructions. Thanks!!
I love the idea of cutting some corner templates. Simple but so effective. Thanks for the video.
Thanks a lot. Cutting the templates really helps
Sorry to be critical but it's meant to be constructive..camera work a bit average, need to see what guy is doing with his hands not the top of his head! Also music way too loud for speaking parts - had to keep turning volume up and down
LOL,I found the sample piece for ensure left-right cutting correctly as well.
Besides,it is important as well to make sure your saw teeth always cut into cornice face paper, whcih creating a nice clean cut.
Beauty mate!!
hi, on 90mm Cove is their a top edge which is labelled somehow?

I like the last part of talk 😎
Nice
Hello, the glue cut on the sides 20 \ 20 cm, the pattern itself made for it.
THANKS GUYS .. great video.. so .. hmm when cutting internal long edge is the bottom so that is the point where u measure ? we measure down 90mm ? mark it up with pencil .. ? AAANDDD for externals long POINT IS THE TOP? thanks any advice greatly appreciated..
Hi Nick. Thanks for tuning in. Yes that's right measure the wall 90mm down. Lower edge is the long points. Yeah we normally mark the corners to make sure the next cornice will line up
Where in Australia are you mate?
Great help mate but you need to sack ya camera man lol think he was half asleep most of video 😂😂😂😂
Bom dia . Dá-lhe sanca. Como diz aqui no Brasil.
Australia.
thannks bud couldn't hear a word you said but when themusic came on it woke the baby up through the room, cheers. Good job
hehe, Sorry about that Colin. Thanks for being kind
@@Maxkil 😂 😂 😂 😂
A right and a left indeed.
Say if I'm DIY at home doing 1 repair (2 cuts) is there a calculation I can do & mark out & cut manually instead of buying the mitre box ? Cheers.
Btw I'm working with 75mm cornice.
Mate, the saw, the saw, is it not a bit too rusty mate?
it did not help me one bit. what angle is that you are cutting . 45 degrees ?. when i cut two opposing 45 degree angles it does not line up by a long shot.
why you don't using compound miter saw? good corners and very fast
Hey good question about that and the reason I don't use my sliding compound miter saw is I would need a stand out bench on both ends and it would be far too long.
This small light weight box is easy to pick up and move to the end I'm cutting..
The cuts are cleaner too but you would need quite a bit of space.
Yep don't think you could've made cutting cornice look anymore awkward!
Haha, I suppose.. Next time I will be clearer
@@Maxkil love the saw,not rusted at all
I am inquiring about a work contract in this profession. Can you help me?
Douakha Boubaker I can help u boss 💪🏾
Good job
What is the name ? use for 45 degree cutting cornice,, cutting box ? or what
Hey mate it's called a mitre box.
@@Maxkil thanks
i understand the instructions straight away no fuss. its stupid how ppl whinge about rusty saw bla bla bla. the whole point is it gets the job DONE EFFICIENTLY. rip open your wall or ceiling at home & tell me if you dont find anything like cans or cigarette butts. lol you funny fellas any torn parts will not end up the way it is. patch it or get another piece you tell me ? lol max couldn't even be bothered to explain just play along with you fwits lolol
Haha then end 😅😂
Why the music?
If you look it's not a true angle because the coveing is not square to the block
Good video, jist can't stand the music picks
🙄
stupid music wasnt necessary
I’m guessing you’re a chippy not a plasterer?
I get the bag
Nah definitely not a chippy.
You need a better cameraman
yeah , for sure . Your totally right. Thanks for watching
Please, try to talk clearly. Or use a microphone
Presents a bad or terrible image. People can interpret that as the person does not care, so the quailty of the work is suspect
and a saw is not so expensive, better buy a good one.
Cant hear what you're saying and have no idea what you're doing or talking about
Stick to plastering.
Not teaching- too much mumbling.
ok
