Drinking pickle juice absolutely does help leg cramps. My daddy had bad ones. He would drink the pickle juice and they would go away immediately!!! I don't have to worry about leg cramps though. Lol. I drink it whether I have cramps or not. Great video
It would be more efficient to slice the peppers down the center and pull the seeds out before roasting them, so you don’t lose flavour of the roasting when running them under water. Then you don’t need to be as gentle with them.
Another great idea from you today ! I am GOING to dry pickles as I LOVE LOVE LOVE pickle seasoning !! It is a new found love and now I can make it myself instead of paying the high price of the seasoning with ....questionable ingredients. You nailed it again, Krista !
Dill pickle juice gargled sure helps with a sore throat. Takes a sore throat away for a few hours and then can be repeated as needed. This remedy comes from a very old medical book.
Hi there. One thing that I like to do with leftover pickle juice is to make rye bread. Use the pickle juice in place of the water. It gives a nice tangy flavor that perfectly compliments the rye.
I am new to your channel. I love how you are finding ways to use up everything. I like the dill pickle powder. I also grew cayenne peppers. They keep very well when dehydrated. Love from your new fan in Indianapolis. Be blessed. 🤗🤗
I will be making some dillypops soon. My granddaughter ADORES dill pickles! What a fun treat. I did try the dill pickle soup but it wasn't a winner for us but was really fun to try. Another thing we do when making popcorn is just throw a a Tablespoon or two dry kernels in a brown paper bag like you used for the blistered peppers, fold over the top and microwave it for 2 minutes or until the kernels slow way down on popping. Fold the top over on itself and serve in the bag. QUICK, no clean up and perfect for those trying to cut fat. Air pops takes a while to get used to but for me it needs some seasoning so this dill trick is GREAT!
Maybe mix some of the powder with the melted butter, pour it over your bowl of popcorn, and let the dill party begin!!! I'd prefer bread and butter or even salt n vinegar!! I eat salt n vinegar chip until my tongue gets sore!!
Fresh Potatoes don’t last very long here, even when stored in a dark cabinet. I usually only can store them fresh for a month before they start to sprout.
Ooh, I bet that pickle powder would be good in pasta salad, deviled eggs or potato salad!
If you are dehydrated and out in the heat drink some pickle juice. My husband is a firefighter and they keep pickle juice on hand on calls.

Not yet, I do plan on making a canning video next year with my onion harvest.
