Miners hated that the birds died for them so much they invented a machine to save the canaries. They made what's basically a miniature sealed oxygen chamber they placed the canaries into so they could recover.
Upon reading some of your comments, I've decided to make a few adjustments: Funnelweb - As I use unforgiven more, I find myself missing the stability and handling on this gun. I still don't think it's better but I think it deserves low S tier Hung Jury - Overlooked the stability and overall feel of this gun. Since I put another precision frame (doom of chelchis) so high, I think Hung Jury should be S tier too Austringer - Somehow overlooked triple tap frenzy, I'd move it up to high B tier Braytech werewolf - It's got a similar roll to Arctic Haze, making it a champion shredder. Still not the best pick imo but it deserves at least B tier Also forgot a few weapons: Jararaca-3SR - Rapid fire frame with fourth times the charm. Can't really pair fourth times with focused fury so I'd maybe go rapid hit instead. High B-tier Fioritura-59 - Rapid fire sidearm which can roll threat detector or pugilist with repulsor brace or swash. A nice pick for Gyrfalcons, high B tier. Lodbrok-C - Target lock seems pretty solid for this gun, pair that with fourth times for a pretty decent weapon, especially for a 350. Osmosis and demo in the first column are worth mentioning too. High B tier
Short, sweet, and to the point. No beating around the bush here. Love it. More of a fan of gnawing hunger. Auto load and demo pairs nice with witherhoard and it’s catalyst, and bad omens with auto load as well. Demo pairs nice with verity brow on void warlocks, plus the volatile rounds from nade final blows.
You really overlooked gnawing hunger IMO. Void ar which means it’s gonna be really good with gyrfalcons. Sub rampage makes it a phenomenal pair with gyr. For endgame you can get field prep for the always available reload boost and kill clip. Kill clip can be very viable because of volatile too
My hot take: Sacred Provenance is high A tier. The secret sauce is high-caliber rounds. Permanently stunlocking anything under a major, while laying down 40+ rounds of a stable, high-range pulse that nearly full stacks rapid hit in the first burst feel incredible. Proc kill clip and move onto stunlocking and shredding the next target. Insidious is an S-tier weapon. Incredible stats, Dragonfly procs one-for-all and the origin trait (not to mention the recent dragonfly buff)
Disparity I'd argue is S tier when used with rapid hit headstone because it also gets hakke breach armaments. That trait brings the bullets required to break a stasis crystal from 5 to 4, meaning this gun can break its own crystals with 1 burst rather than 2.
I have tested almost all the hand cannons except zaoulis bane and I can tell you definitively that fatebringer with explosive frenzy beats them all. It's even beating out exotics for damage. And it's especially nasty rn after the hand cannon buff. It feels like a special weapon. It's doing that much damage.
zaoulis bane being a good gun is still so weird to see for me all those years of D1 where it was arguably one of the worst guns in the game and felt like it too

I’m glad you put Zaouli’s Bane in S tier. I felt like I was the only one who loves this gun. People shit on it just because of how it looks and feels. Enhanced explosive payload gives it better reload so that helps a bit. It’s my favorite hand cannon next to Fatebringer.
It’s probably one of the best synergies with solar but so is mini tool. So it’ll probably be just as popular and a must when mini tool gets vaulted again or being put to dares and have a 1% for it to drop a red border lol
its reload animation throws me off all the time. the rounds don't load in until the drum actually clicks. unlike every other revolver, where i can sprint cancel the animation much faster. that one irk really kills the weapon for me.
Even with all the guns you went through you kept it short and to the point. Instant sub. Can’t wait for you to do special and power weapons. Will definitely be using this list as a guideline to cut down on vault space for Lightfall.
I'll be honest- Firefright has moved all the way to my most used weapons of all time strictly because of enhanced osmosis and enhanced fourth times, I can use it with any loadout and immediately get great usage out of it. It synergizes with any of my builds and it's a hard hitting auto in its own right. It's a s tier for me.

I'm glad you put Ikelos-smg in S tier, it is currently my favorite PvE weapon whenever I use an Ark build (which is always, I love Ark what can I say?).
I think drang is easy s tier for pve- well spring + incandescent and does the same or more damage than Calus mini. Plus now there’s full auto so no spamming the trigger
Re why Tyranny of Heaven feels awful despite seeming to have the same rolls as other bows, it has incredibly low base reload speed, lower than all other bows I believe, and I'm pretty sure that's why the bow feels incredibly sluggish to use. I threw it on once a while ago, couldn't fathom why it felt so bad, compared stats with other bows and noticed the reload speed disparity. I had sort of laughed at reload speed on a bow previously (it's instant, right?!), but now it sits alongside draw time as the two most important stats to me on bows.
Yesteryear is actually great with clean sights & rolling subsistence/rampage (or swashbuckler) is great. Solid B teir. Could be A with the right roll & build.
Doom of chelchis is actually still not the best dps scout due to it being it a bad scout frame it’s still given to the lightweight frame making scouts like tarnished metal with voltshot the best dps scout in the game
My dude rated every single legendary in under half an hour. TH-camrs like cammycakes take 40-50 minutes just to cover one type of weapon, like hand cannons and shotguns.
I use Biting Wind more than any other bow in the game . I think the high accuracy and damage is great for killing red bars or non shielded orange bars in end game. I was genuinely shocked to see it in D tier. Other than that I think this is a pretty solid list. Thanks for making it.

in regards to funnelweb i hate that subsistence adrenaline junkie is rarely mentioned. we live in the most nade spam heavy meta ever and can keep AJ up almost constantly. veist stinger + subsistence yeah yeah i fired 300 rounds and cleared an entire room of red bars without reloading. might not roll demo for grenade regen but you can fire this thing for such sustained periods of time that your nade probably will regen before you actually reload.
I have a rapid headstone Perses D, which is one of the 2 good rolls it actually gets, and it's super, super strong in higher end content now that slow & freeze affects champs. Ironically, I find it struggles in lower end content where my headstone Krait excels. Go figure... Also, Pleiades Corrector is absolute fire. It's the solar Vouchsafe, Tarnished, or Night Watch. Get one with Outlaw-MKC, subsistence-wellspring/demolitionist. Or my PVE favorite, sympathetic arsenal so that 1 KO reloads your other 2 weapons. The high zoom gives it insane range and accuracy for popping heads, and the reload is great even with extended mag. I use Pardon our Dust and G-Horn, and never need to reload either one.
I must be playing PvE wrong. I won't use One For All unless it rolls on an auto. Not a big fan of the hit one target, aim at new enemy, rinse and repeat to activate the perk.
drang after the sidearm buff is S tier above mini tool, just do the math, easier to use since the recoil is better, more effective range (no way you're hitting every headshot on anything past 13m with the mini tool), wellspring (literally better ability spam), more effective dps (easier crits with drang, less efort, easier to use, more dps if not aimbotting), it has enhanced incandescent too, it is better. edit: tested it in carl lost sector, on red bars and yellow bars drang does more dps than mini tool even with all headshots and it maintains it for 3.6 seconds while mini tool does for 2.4 seconds
seventh seraph officer revolver is super good with lucky pants. fttc plus vorpal makes it do some crazy damage, and it's great if you're not running malfesance or tlw. I'd put it in low/mid a tier at least.
Timelost Fatebringer with explosive+frenzy has never left my inventory since I got my hands on it. I’ve got over 15,000 kills on that thing. Glad to see my boy get in S tier.
Watched this whole video just to finally see EVERY WAKING MOMENT and all you had to say was “B tier” ???? That smg is insane and super underrated, its a better archetype than the overrated funnelweb and its void so it’s insane with Gyrfalcons, and my roll is Ambitious Assassin + Adrenaline Junkie which synergizes crazy good with any void grenade builds…. STOP THE DOWNPLAY better damage, better perks, better archetype, better mag size, better looking just overall THE BEST void smg

I will say the Perseas-D Scout is a lot better than you think, with Armor Piercing, Vorpal, And Hakke Breach Rounds, It has the best perk combination for breaking champion shields
I know this is post-Lightfall with the perk pool refreshes for a number of these weapons, but i think Hung Jury is worth a second look now that it gets Kinetic Tremors, and also the fact that Kinetic guns have a damage buff in pve
As someone who has a Forward Path with 4th times & Multikill clip w/ stability masterwork; I can tell you it's a good rifle but it's very perk dependent. Used it in many a Raid in my Divinity loadout.
I know many of the lower tier weapons have craftable variants of the same class but that doesn’t mean they’re completely discarded, if you don’t have the materials to craft or the patterns then the original archetype for that specific weapon is the next best thing plain and simple
Hi man. Great content. Overall I agree with your rankings. Though I would do some corrections due to the nature of the content I play. In general play, your tier list is accurate (except for ARs, they all deserve a higher tier overall since the blanket stability buff). But now I bring my main observation, in Endgame PvE (master content and GMs) SMGs, hand cannons and sidearms should all be 1 tier lower, if not d tier directly, as they lack the range to fight on that level, and bows and ARs need a 1 tier up correction. Thats all! Once again, great content and subscribed, waiting for the specials and heavies review!
I actually disagree. I find myself rocking smg in master all the time. it's still the best primary type of a weapon in the game. and I do take it to some GMs here and there, too. SMGs shine in fallen saber and other not so open strikes. like this season's birthplace for example, which I farmed a ton for a Hung Jury - on my arc titan with submission and forbearance and I was flying throught the GM, with avarage time of 15 minutes. If you have a good build and you're good enough to play agressive in GMs, smgs are still unrivaled. The same could be said about sidearms, but there's just no reason why would you ever wanna use them over smgs. But hand cannons have their place in end content too, especilly this season. just because you play end conent doesn't mean you can speak on behalf of everyone that plays it too. your take is just as subjective as his.. or mine. but saying they' could be placed into D-tier automatacly isn't subjective, it's just straight up wrong.

But when I have to speak from my perspective, they are just bad... So bad they end up in d tier. I have seen people own with them, but they are 1 out of 20 or 30 guardians. If i had to give advice to the common denominator, i would say they are fighting for the worst pve gun family.
Pointed Inquiry is a situational S-tier -- it can roll genesis/adaptive munitions, so when anti-barrier scout is in season, it becomes a legendary Arbalest.

Chrysura melo is high A if not S tier. I had one with heating up and firefly with a range mw and a good barrel and it was absolutely CRACKED. It would do 36 per crit and wasn’t exactly slow firing, and the amount of collateral kills I used to get with it due to firefly was disgusting. Paired with chaperone it’s just gross.
While i am sad to see my seventh seraph SI-2 so low since i absolutely love that gun and it's my baby, i am happy that unforgiven got over funnelweb. It's just so much better in any way. Demo frenzy is my perfect roll and i will never dismantle it. A quick little add on to this, hung jury is a weapon i like, but not due to what other people seem to enjoy, i like surplus frenzy. The gun just feels amazing and is fun to use. Btw I understand why Seventh Seraph SI-2 is so low, just sas to see as I really love this gun. Easily my favourite

Insidious is definitely s tier and sacred provenance is just waiting for garden to get its refresh like deep stone to become god.

Chroma Rush having Subsistence/Rampage should account for it being better than Feeding Frenzy/Kill Clip

It's pretty good post s21 btw! Can be crafted w/ Dragonfly and Incandescent and is good for harmonic elemental play/ad clear ^^

Wolftone has archer's tempo + frenzy which is a nutty roll, plus it carried me through my 1st GM
in regards to funnelweb i hate that subsistence adrenaline junkie is rarely mentioned. we live in the most nade spam heavy meta ever and can keep AJ up almost constantly. veist stinger + subsistence yeah yeah i fired 300 rounds and cleared an entire room of red bars without reloading. might not roll demo for grenade regen but you can fire this thing for such sustained periods of time that your nade probably will regen before you actually reload.

I have a rapid headstone Perses D, which is one of the 2 good rolls it actually gets, and it's super, super strong in higher end content now that slow & freeze affects champs. Ironically, I find it struggles in lower end content where my headstone Krait excels. Go figure...
Also, Pleiades Corrector is absolute fire. It's the solar Vouchsafe, Tarnished, or Night Watch. Get one with Outlaw-MKC, subsistence-wellspring/demolitionist. Or my PVE favorite, sympathetic arsenal so that 1 KO reloads your other 2 weapons. The high zoom gives it insane range and accuracy for popping heads, and the reload is great even with extended mag. I use Pardon our Dust and G-Horn, and never need to reload either one.

I must be playing PvE wrong. I won't use One For All unless it rolls on an auto. Not a big fan of the hit one target, aim at new enemy, rinse and repeat to activate the perk.

i love seeing stochastic variable get love, i have 15k kills on mine and i don’t see myself putting it down
drang after the sidearm buff is S tier above mini tool, just do the math, easier to use since the recoil is better, more effective range (no way you're hitting every headshot on anything past 13m with the mini tool), wellspring (literally better ability spam), more effective dps (easier crits with drang, less efort, easier to use, more dps if not aimbotting), it has enhanced incandescent too, it is better.
edit: tested it in carl lost sector, on red bars and yellow bars drang does more dps than mini tool even with all headshots and it maintains it for 3.6 seconds while mini tool does for 2.4 seconds

I think Krait and Chroma Rush are both S-tier, but I love AR primaries, so I’m probably a bit bias.
Respectfully, the ad clear potential of those isn’t close to the weapons in S-Tier.

seventh seraph officer revolver is super good with lucky pants. fttc plus vorpal makes it do some crazy damage, and it's great if you're not running malfesance or tlw. I'd put it in low/mid a tier at least.

Watched this whole video just to finally see EVERY WAKING MOMENT and all you had to say was “B tier” ???? That smg is insane and super underrated, its a better archetype than the overrated funnelweb and its void so it’s insane with Gyrfalcons, and my roll is Ambitious Assassin + Adrenaline Junkie which synergizes crazy good with any void grenade builds…. STOP THE DOWNPLAY better damage, better perks, better archetype, better mag size, better looking just overall THE BEST void smg

I will say the Perseas-D Scout is a lot better than you think, with Armor Piercing, Vorpal, And Hakke Breach Rounds, It has the best perk combination for breaking champion shields

I know this is post-Lightfall with the perk pool refreshes for a number of these weapons, but i think Hung Jury is worth a second look now that it gets Kinetic Tremors, and also the fact that Kinetic guns have a damage buff in pve

As someone who has a Forward Path with 4th times & Multikill clip w/ stability masterwork; I can tell you it's a good rifle but it's very perk dependent. Used it in many a Raid in my Divinity loadout.
I know many of the lower tier weapons have craftable variants of the same class but that doesn’t mean they’re completely discarded, if you don’t have the materials to craft or the patterns then the original archetype for that specific weapon is the next best thing plain and simple
Hi man. Great content. Overall I agree with your rankings. Though I would do some corrections due to the nature of the content I play.
In general play, your tier list is accurate (except for ARs, they all deserve a higher tier overall since the blanket stability buff). But now I bring my main observation, in Endgame PvE (master content and GMs) SMGs, hand cannons and sidearms should all be 1 tier lower, if not d tier directly, as they lack the range to fight on that level, and bows and ARs need a 1 tier up correction.

I actually disagree. I find myself rocking smg in master all the time. it's still the best primary type of a weapon in the game. and I do take it to some GMs here and there, too. SMGs shine in fallen saber and other not so open strikes. like this season's birthplace for example, which I farmed a ton for a Hung Jury - on my arc titan with submission and forbearance and I was flying throught the GM, with avarage time of 15 minutes. If you have a good build and you're good enough to play agressive in GMs, smgs are still unrivaled. The same could be said about sidearms, but there's just no reason why would you ever wanna use them over smgs. But hand cannons have their place in end content too, especilly this season. just because you play end conent doesn't mean you can speak on behalf of everyone that plays it too. your take is just as subjective as his.. or mine. but saying they' could be placed into D-tier automatacly isn't subjective, it's just straight up wrong.
@@martincapek96 thanks for the reply!! rankings are subjective in general. I am not good enough to pull them off on GMs. If you can, more power to you. But when I have to speak from my perspective, they are just bad... So bad they end up in d tier.
I have seen people own with them, but they are 1 out of 20 or 30 guardians.
If i had to give advice to the common denominator, i would say they are fighting for the worst pve gun family.
Firefright is amazing for PvP for me... I know autos aren't the best but It just feels RIGHT to me.
Transfiguration has kill clip and rampage so that’s the best 150. Also full auto exits now so you can’t penalise certain archetype of sidearms anymore
Unforgiven is S Tier, that’s all I was hoping for. Gyfalcons build with that is just crazy solid
Pointed Inquiry is a situational S-tier -- it can roll genesis/adaptive munitions, so when anti-barrier scout is in season, it becomes a legendary Arbalest.
Completely missed that roll honestly, maybe it's not as bad as I thought
@@EmberCenturion it might be better than you thought but it's nowhere near as good as drew thinks it is either. sure it has adaptive munitions but you know what other void scout has that? doom of chelchis. and I much rather have adaptive + frenzy than genesis, on top of that, pointed inquiry just feel bad. In my humble opionion it's low B tier at best, probably C tier.

Chrysura melo is high A if not S tier. I had one with heating up and firefly with a range mw and a good barrel and it was absolutely CRACKED. It would do 36 per crit and wasn’t exactly slow firing, and the amount of collateral kills I used to get with it due to firefly was disgusting. Paired with chaperone it’s just gross.
mad how nation of beasts has jumped to S with the Dragonfly with voltshot, explosive or golden tricorn as of this season
While i am sad to see my seventh seraph SI-2 so low since i absolutely love that gun and it's my baby, i am happy that unforgiven got over funnelweb. It's just so much better in any way. Demo frenzy is my perfect roll and i will never dismantle it.
A quick little add on to this, hung jury is a weapon i like, but not due to what other people seem to enjoy, i like surplus frenzy. The gun just feels amazing and is fun to use.
Btw I understand why Seventh Seraph SI-2 is so low, just sas to see as I really love this gun. Easily my favourite
