    Never have I seen a video on saddle fitment along with a simple procedure for in-home DIY. I especially liked the fine adjustments for riding positions at the end of the video. I now have some homework to do plus I'm now a subscriber.

      Hi Harry, appreciate the kind words. They're really encouraging. Real credits go out to other TH-cam Users who shared these information, I'm just here documenting my own findings in search of solutions to my issues and hoping to give back in some way. Hope it is useful and definitely hope you'd be able to find the ideal width with this! Happy hunting and meanwhile, stay safe! :)

    Hey Freddie, couple of things: my ideal saddle width is 126 but I used a saddle with 165 once several years ago (got it for free!) and on long rides was not comfortable. I have two questions: having never ridden a Brompton would you consider this bike to be built to the same quality? And, can this bike for me, 189cm? Thanks!

    • @fredphua
      @fredphua  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey KWH, thank you for watching my video. Saddles have always been a very contentious topic and saddle width is just one part of the equation of comfort. Other factors like "Roundness" of the saddle, overall riding position, aft and fore of the saddle install, tilt etc matters. So this video should only be sufficient to help with the width component of things and not enough info to address the comfort.
      As for the question on the quality in comparison to a Brompton, on first glance I think the finishing is very good. From a longer run perspective, I'm not in a good position to comment because I haven't owned one and will not be fair for me to talk about the build quality from the perspective of parts longevity. I have borrowed a Brompton and went for a longer ride before making my choice, I'm of the opinion that ride quality is not too different. Again, it is my opinion, I know people who hold a different view and believe would be with good basis. You can check out my thoughts in the previous video I made. There are also some interesting comments there on this topic.
      Lastly, it's on bike fit which is also in my previous video. May be a bit short for you at 189, short for me too at 182. I'd switch out some parts for me to fit better in it and will be making a video on the outcome. Keep a lookout! Hope it helps.

      Thank you for the compliment. I'm using a Fabric Light to which allows me to mount my garmin. Transferable among my bikes. But looking to get one for these, done some research and will do a vid on my lights soon. Probably not that convenient for meet ups especially with the current situation with the pandemic. Stay safe! 😊👍

    Not that I blame you for buying a knock-off, but I would not be proud to ride something that is so blatantly a cheap copy. How any firm could so closely copy a product, without adding anything of their own, shows a lack of pride. I bet some of the men over in your country have bought themselves the best Brompton and bought one of the 360º for the wife hoping she won't notice.

    • @fredphua
      @fredphua  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I appreciate your graciousness for not blaming me. I think it'd be unfortunate if one's happiness/pride riding a bicycle, hinges on notions/stories that comes with branding exercises or matters which the companies should be worrying about instead of the users. Fortunately for me though, it's all smiles on all my miles regardless of what I ride. I wouldn't generalise like what I've read above, I'd speak from my own experience. In my household, my wife would be more than capable of buying her own Brompton, while I'd still go for the 3sixty from a price/performance ratio view. Anyway, have a happy day ahead. 😉

      I take umbrage of your comment! There is nothing high technology build on brompton except it’s awesome folding system that was once patented but expired! :P
      Just a piece of steel frame & folding rear triangle with SA hub. It’s nothing challenging to clone it while still enjoy foldability & mobility at a fraction of B’s price! Stop whining and move on with ur own life while we enjoy ours with peacefully with Brompton and Brompnot owners in peace and harmony.
