Thank you for watching! 🎢 🚨 Disclaimer: Just after the release of this video, we learned that Avix, the new Gerstlauer Infinity Inverted Coaster at Parque del Café in Colombia, would be opening in 2024, rather than 2025 which i’d been hearing. I’m unsure where it would place on this list, but it would almost certainly bump Fire in the Hole out of the top 15. I too managed to ride both Voltron and Hyperia this year - tbh they're so different it really depends what you prefer in a rollercoaster. Voltron is a long fun layout for sure, with great theming and really nice launches. I personally like the intimidation factor of height, speed and a great first drop though - so like you I'd go against the grain and say if I could only ride one of them again, I'd go for Hyperia.
Good video, and I agree with the Hyperia over Voltron decision for exactly the reasons you explained. Only thing missing for me is “Gold Rush” at Drayton. It’s one of the best family coasters I have ever ridden and incredibly well themed. Should definitely have been on the list somewhere.
Haven't done youre top 3 unfortunatly TT2 was closed the other 2 i have on my list for next year so if i remember i'll let you know then. It was a pretty bad year for nem coasters for me only did fire in the whole. tt2 and drielooper where down when i went there. And i haven't visited any other of the parks with a new coaster.
Completely agree with you about Voltron and Hyperia. I really wanted to love my final rides on Voltron, but it's unfortunately unbearably rough on the wing seats and even more so on certain trains. Personally, I prefer elements that contain more sustained moments of weightlessness and positive G's, you have more time to enjoy these sensations, and this is what makes Hyperia stand out even more. To make things more berserk, the airtime moments eject you from your seat sideways. It's in my top 3 coasters as far as rankings go, but I'm sure it is actually my favourite as far as personal taste goes.
I completely agree about the more sustained elements to make them more enjoyable. I still put voltron one spot ahead hyperia (#4 and #5) because of the theming and the lenght, and because I tend to like launched coasters more
This is a solid ranking and I honestly didn’t expect Sköll and Hati to rank so high! That’s a big deal for Asia and South Korea, so glad RMC gave them a unique coaster and they can be proud of this new statistic in the community🇰🇷😄 I’ve loved studying and progressing with 한국어 this year outside of the thoosie realm so it was a complete win! 너무 재미있요! Very fun🎢🫰🏻
I literally found out about South Koreans new raptor a few minutes ago on RCDB ( didn’t know it existed ) and then I see this video with that ride in it and I felt I had to mention it
I thought it would open next year guess i was wrong. Thats now 2 raptors i haven't done yet since wonder woman was still closed when i went to texas for the dirst time this year.
If you don’t know the zamperila Marc is talking about when he is talking about thunder volt in Canada which is at 4:07 he is talking about top thrill 2 at cedar point in Sandusky Ohio. just if you get confused 😊
Great video. One of the few lists I've seen where Hyperia beat Voltron. I suspect if it's theming matched it's incredible layout it would usually rank much higher. I don't think you're being fair claiming that other content creators are glossing over voltrons faults. I've heard several youtubers mention the same issue. Also if it is a problem only with one or two trains then , with the large number of trains on operation on Voltron, a reviewer may have only experienced smooth rides and are basing their judgement on that experience. Also a shout out to Gold rush, one of the UKs other new for 2024 coasters. Seriously we have had quite the year over here in britainland.
@@joeplatt4036 Thanks Joe! You’re right, I wasn’t entirely fair. I have heard several TH-cam channels mention the issues Voltron has. However, virtually none of the ones which rank it stupid high seem to want to talk about it. Gold Rush is a great coaster too, nearly made my list!
Weird that you don't include Nemesis reborn in the official list, but All American triple loop ... but yeah, I get it, a 40year old relocated traveling coaster by a legacy manufacturer is really "new" 😂
Why did you include TT2 and All American Triple Loop but not Nemesis Reborn. I think it’s even more of a new coaster than both because its basically a clone of the og with the same lift, station and break run and slightly different profiling
@rema1721 At first, I didn’t know if I believed you. Then I thought about it, ArieForce One > Batman Gotham City Escape > Wildcat’s Revenge > Toutatis > Hyperia/Voltron 😅

@@benrowe8369 Thanks for the comment! Gold Rush is excellent, but it’s far too tame to have made my top 15.
Awesome vid, YAY your number 1 was Hyperia at my local park ! im 20 mins drive away, shout if you ever go back, not been on it yet due to injuries
@@mattbentley9270 Thanks for the comment! Hopefully, you get the chance to ride soon. It’s special.
Hyperia is a beast! That 165ft outerbank is evil!
@@Harrythepot “Evil” is a first 😂 LOVE IT!
I go with Voltron because voltron became significantly smoother after Halloween.
I love how great escapes comet is in your intro
The way roller coasters are just evolving 😅
Great video! It surprised me you had Hyperia over Voltron. It depends on what you like though. I really enjoyed watching this!
good that someone is including the whole world in these types of ranks rather than just america and europe 😀
@bowydcoasting Would be missing out on so much good stuff!

The outerbank on Hyperia has been banned the kremer roll by Mack rides
12:43 it’s called the Kremer roll named after the person who made it however lots of people have started calling it the sausage roll😂
6:43 steel taipan looks a lot better than jungle rush imo but jungle rush will still be a solid number 2 coaster for the park.
2024 might’ve been a bit of a dud, but we still got some stellar rides!

Voltron easily takes the cake over Hyperia dude.

Hyperia somehow already looks underrated! I haven’t finished the video so you might say it, but was Voltron underwhelming?
Due to two rattly trains Voltron is a few of a crap shoot as to the quality of your ride....it can be great or a bit of a pain
They call it Monit-sello in Indiana.
I know, it's dumb
fourth best 2023 coaster is better than first of 2024 lol
