Sorry I'm not well versed in 40k lore specifics. What exactly is the curse blood angels suffer from? The fact that they keep seeing the memory of sanguinus dying?
If they can't control it they will basically lose their mind and think they are sanguineous before his death and at his death
And they will kill almost everyone around them thinking that they are that they are traitors
They relive his final moments
It’s defect in there gene seed. The gene seed is the genetic material and organs that are transplanted in the bodies of space marines that make them super human. They essentially have extreme ptsd where they go ape after living too long.
Sanguinius discovered that there was a genetic “problem” in his makeup which affected the blood legions since they were space marines that were created from his makeup. He was looking for a cure for it before Horus, that traitorous dick, got corrupted by chaos and rebelled. He didn’t find a cure before he died and his death activated it in his legions who were with him when he died. Think if it as dormant ptsd that can turn you into a beast so violent that you kill your own ally’s and brothers in order to get to your enemies. Their blood rage is not something you would like to see.
