QE was good enough last year to win a title. Why wouldn't he be good enough this year? We were one play away last year to making it to title game and they would've matched up better against Michigan that Washington IMO. Penix played out of his mind against Texas (go and look at some of those throws into tight coverage), but had the predictable let down against Mich. Also, you seem to be forgetting Ewers has been injured which has hurt his stats. My main criticism of Ewers does revolve around pocket presence and mobility to extend plays. If Ewers remains healthy, this could be a HUGE year for Texas. Sark is dealing with his most complete team and his offensive mind is in overdrive. You can sense the glee in his voice when he starts talking about this team and the offensive weapons spread across the field.

Hes not good enough to win a national title? He was 12 yards away from playing for one last season. He's clearly a first round pick...it JJ McCarthy is and Bo Nix is....he's definitely one.
