I first witnessed Greg play in 1988 in Sydney and i am truely amazed at the "Aura" that surrounded him, it will admit i was kinda star struck, its hard to explain how big Greg Norman was to these younger guys coming along, but man i saw him hit balls on the practice range from about 15 feet away with persimmon headed drivers and i've NEVER seen anyone that can hit it better than Greg did, he was that good.
I feel the same way about Mickelson and the Open. But for such a great player to only have two actual titles and to have so many stolen from under his nose I really feel for him
Such an amazing player, too bad he melted down a lot in the majors though at times was simply beaten by heroic shots. He handled everything well though and did a great job of putting it all in perspective. He was indeed very inspirational.
