There’s probably not a single Democrat that’d even consider playing golf with Trump. If they did accept his invitation it certainly wouldn’t be with the intent of just getting to know him. Sad but that’s reality. These people have spent everyday for years trying to destroy anyone even loosely associated with him. And for what? Being the first president in more than 40yrs to not start a war? Brokering more MidEast peace deals than all previous presidents combined? Being the first president this century to stop Russia from invading a European nation? Freeing thousands of unjustly incarcerated minorities locked up by Biden’s only legislative “achievement” in a 50yr career? Lowering the wealth gap for the first time in a century whereby low wage earners saw a faster rise in pay than any other group? Pre-covid creating what was statistically the greatest economy in American history with record low unemployment and record high wages for every race, greed, gender, sexual orientation, etc ever? Making USA energy independent for either the first or second time (depending upon definition) in American history? Being “so corrupt” that he left office with 55% less money than he entered with? This, of course, as opposed to Clinton, Obama, and Biden who by their own admission all entered broke and went on to accumulate hundreds of millions (if not billions) via “public service”? Democrats hate him so much that they now praise Dick Cheney, whose exponentially more conservative, authoritarian, and war mongering than Trump? The guy is a Republican who rebuilt the GOP into a diverse party of middle class workers of all backgrounds and yet Democrats hate his yet love corrupt warmonger like Liz Cheney. None of it makes sense. People aren’t defined by their politics. The country will be united as soon as Democrat voters come to their senses and stop labeling everyone they disagree with as a “Nazi”. Or, in other words, start accepting that just because someone’s politics are different doesn’t make them a bad person or someone you can’t enjoy being around.
I met this guy in Carlsbad Ca at the tournament of champions at La Costa back in 90-91? I spotted him at a restaurant and saw him go in to use the biffy. I went in and peed next to Greg Norman all the while asking him how his round went that day. I’ll bet I looked like a huge creep! Oh well. He was very cordial haha

a persons personal views should not change your opinion of them, if they make bad decisions for others and then warm up to you , then they are a true snake.
Sadly political views are breaking friendships (I say the word loosely) that have been in the making for years. Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda were total political opposites, shared an apartment as young struggling actors and got into a fist fight over those differences. They agreed to never talk politics, and remained best friends for decades.
