Hi Guy’s, what an awesome place!! That food looks amazing it’s not a place I have heard of before and now it’s on my bucket list to visit ASAP! That storm loud above Ricky’s head looked scary I look forward to next weeks video to see how it all turned out! Thank you again for showing me this beautiful little town.
Greetings from Calgary, Alberta. Will be in Puerto Morelos for 3 weeks. Will definitely plan on visiting El Gordo Chili. Tks for your videos - very informative.
Hello guys, I like very much your videos, is it possible to know the name of the house you stayed in El Cuyo?, I was looking for in Airbnb but I din’ t find it, thank you very much and keep doing thats amazing videos.
This place looks sensational!!! I am so looking forward to visiting when I come down in October. The 7 course meal looks divine!!! And the restaurant itself looks to exude a warmth and cozy inviting atmosphere. Can't wait to Go!!! Thanks for sharing ❤
Great video Was this filmed recently, we are in Tulum for 8 days and the beaches are horrible because of the sargassum, is there any there? We are willing to take a trip
Aw I’m sorry to hear about the sargassum. Yes it was only filmed earlier in the week, and not a drop of sargassum. The water is gorgeous- definitely recommend!!
How lucky you were to catch a Mexican fun fair - we love these! The octopus-stuffed chile at El Chile Gordo looked especially good and you even had a resident dog and cat at Restaurant La Negrita - perfect! El Cuyo looks like a lovely little town!
Enjoy it while it lasts. With all the vlogging and Instagramers it too will fall victim. I watched isla mujeres, Tulum and Bacalar get over developed and become tourist traps . The Yucatán is such a very special place ❤️
Yes 🙌 agree the Yucatan is a special place. I was reading in the Yucatan times that they will be building boutique hotels there next year. Changes happening already
It is ‘Atlantis’, Vens Adams. We just love that track. You can find it here: uppbeat.io?referral=raquel-hpq7g And yes, El Cuyo is a magical place - thanks so much for watching.
Hi Lezlie, Yes, we did read about that incident in PV. Very sad. I have never personally seen a crocodile in the ocean (and hope never to) And if it happens I would imagine a very rare occurrence. In next weeks video we show a lagoon in el cuyo that has crocodiles 🐊 I think they just stay in that area and our guide told us they mostly come out and feed at night
We have only seen one crocodile in a Cenote and that was near Tulum and it was called ‘Casa Cenote’ . I believe they called the crocodile ‘Poncho’ lol. I really didn’t enjoy my time there (too scary for me) but it was brackish (salt) water. Most cenotes are fresh water and no crocs - do not worry 😊
OOOOOOOO love this place ,what a treat.
😎😃😎
Thanks Cindy - it was fabulous
Wow!! What a great place and that restaurant I think is one we will try to get to!! Wow just Wow....Viv

How are the mosquitoes? Is there a pretty constant breeze to help?
How lucky you were to catch a Mexican fun fair - we love these! The octopus-stuffed chile at El Chile Gordo looked especially good and you even had a resident dog and cat at Restaurant La Negrita - perfect! El Cuyo looks like a lovely little town!
The fun fair was great !! They even let adults fish for ducks lol 😂. Yes LOVED everything about el Cuyo including the amazing food.
Enjoy it while it lasts. With all the vlogging and Instagramers it too will fall victim. I watched isla mujeres, Tulum and Bacalar get over developed and become tourist traps . The Yucatán is such a very special place ❤️

If I can ask , what's the track/song/artist from 11:40 to end of video? Incredible video , El Cuyo looks wonderful.
It is ‘Atlantis’, Vens Adams. We just love that track.
You can find it here: uppbeat.io?referral=raquel-hpq7g
And yes, El Cuyo is a magical place - thanks so much for watching.
Did they speak any English in that little town?
Yes some people and some restaurants had staff who spoke English. We found everyone so friendly and helpful
9:32 Tamal de dulce. Sweet tamal.
Gracias ☺️

@@RickRackTravels Thx!
Are there places to live full time there? I might have to swap my #1 for that 😁
Yes I believe there are. It’s definitely a beautiful place
Not to dwell on the negative but did you guys hear about the crocodile ocean attack in PV in June? Are there ever crocodiles in the ocean there?
Hi Lezlie, Yes, we did read about that incident in PV. Very sad. I have never personally seen a crocodile in the ocean (and hope never to) And if it happens I would imagine a very rare occurrence. In next weeks video we show a lagoon in el cuyo that has crocodiles 🐊 I think they just stay in that area and our guide told us they mostly come out and feed at night
Yikes. Do you see them in the cenotes? We are coming in 2 months. Just trying to know all the ins and outs. Thanks for replying.

Would love to invite you both to a meal while we are in Puerto Morelos but could not find information to contact you directly.
Hi Theresa, thank you for your very kind comment you can send us a PM on our facebook group.
