I was there yesterday 6/13/20, it was my first time and I had my 13yrs old son with me. It was lovely just like what everyone had describe. Too bad that it rained in the afternoon but right before that it seems like someone had turned the switches on. Strikes after strikes... Wow that was the most fun I've had in a while.
We hear ya, @pnwcritter. But I, as a Colorado based fly shop, we feel confident talking about flies for western waters and wouldn't want to lead anglers on the east coast astray! Thanks for tuning in!
Best one so far. Thanks. Keep em coming. If you guys haven't tuned in yet, check out the Trouthunting NZ chanel. It's my favorite so far, but you guys are catching up.
Thanks @Fly Fish the Mitt. I'm using a Sony A7iii paired with the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8, Sony 70-200 f/4, and Rokinon 14 f/2.8. The videos are edited in Premiere Pro! Thanks for watching!
Hoot182 when I’m in the river, my hands shake when I’m cold. I use the fórceps to hold the fly and it makes threading the eye and twisting the knot way easier for a clinch.
Gus - We talk about what flies we used and what flies we recommend from 5:11 on in the video. If you don't want to watch the whole thing - here's a quick cheatsheet. Bling Midge, Cheesman Emerger, Johnny Flash, Flashback Pheasant Tail, and the Hi-Vis Midge.
Fish don't "eat" your fly. They take, hit or strike it. They plan on eating it, but get interrupted and ingestion never occurs. Why use a word that doesn't describe what happens?
Ivan's footage just keeps getting better. Way to go!
fantastic camera work and editing. really appreciate the fly suggestions to wrap this all up! * * * * *
These videos deserve a lot more recognition. Keep it up! I'll watch these multiple times at work to pass the time...
Thanks for the kind words Carter! We appreciate you tuning in!
Nothing like a post-river run to Costco! Those teriyaki pineapple meatballs are all time. Great edit guys.

Are you euro nymphimh?
No sir. Danny and Scott were throwing traditional indicator rigs. Although they were high sticking on certain pieces of water.
Anyone ever tell you you look like Jordan Spieth?
😂😂 We'll let Danny know about his likeness.

Why make a useless comment on a youtube video picking apart what they're saying word for word?
what is the price of eggs in china ?
