Good job, I ha e been preforming this same kind of work for over 30 years, on this one you have great visibility our dive are completely black diving into 2 to 3 feet of mud to get to the anchor and then replace the chain, again great work, I you would use the correct clevis that will fit the anchor ring then one would ha e to have a smaller clevis to fit the chain.

@Ak El thank you for getting back to me, I don't have any experience with salt water chain replacement, in the great lakes area we use any where from 1/4 to 3/4 in chain, rust is a issue how ever electralic eats away at most chains, we just replace as needed,

Nerve-racking, but also really cool! Looks kinda fun if I’m being completely honest!

The unknown of the waters. Scary to me to just see a chain disappear into it. I know nothing bad is going to happen it’s just I do t know

The condition of the old chain is still pretty good. it wasn't neccacery to replace the chain.

-Should have had a tool/parts bag so both hands free.
-Proper sized shackles; no hammer required.

That is proper shackle for chain size. Didn’t realize you been in the business for the last 40 years. Do you want my job?

@@fishpast1 A proper sized shackle doesn't require a hammer. The hardware needs to be sized for the whole job, not half of it. Someday you're going to hammer a shackle and it's going to break, the bolt holes will misalign, or worst of all, it'll crack, you won't notice, and a few months later the bouy will be miles away somewhere.
No, I don't want your job or anybody else's. I'm retired after 40+ yrs in the building and construction trades, some in heavy industry, where my job and people's lives depended on using the right hardware.
      Happy Thanksgiving, Brock.

@@ralphaverill2001 once again my product has stood the test of time. Never had a failure on 40 years of doing it like this. Just because the block eye is over sized does not mean the hardware is undersized. Just take some effort or idk actual work to get it on and off. Once again, 40 years but I guess you know more than me. Happy thanksgiving.
